    how to get the scale like 1:20 or 2m/s = 1 cm

      It depends on space available to draw the diagram. Check maximum and minimum velocity available with you at the start and decide scale so that diagram should not be too small or too large.

      Question not clear, may be you are asking why have we divided by 2. To covert diameter into radius
