I like it too. Sporty flyers are great. One that I'll inevitably crash that is a reasonable price makes it more fun to fly. Not afraid to take a risk and that'll make you a better flyer. Your reviews entertain and are informative.

You don't see many good toy drones hitting the market these days, so I was nice to see you really enjoy flying this new model from Snaptain. And neat how it resembled a baby phantom. Good review and flight test. And BTW, I just received a small drone from Snaptain, it's not the same one you have here, but I haven't gotten the chance to unbox it yet.
She moves pretty good in high speed.

Some guys consider the MJX Bugs 2C to be an intermediate level drone, however, I recommend it for beginners. Comes in under $150 bucks, easy to fly and has much better features (and power) than the drone you watched in this video! DJ Soul. Quick question: If you were to give a little relative a first drone, which drone would you give? This would be a great video (hint, hint ) haha
How little is the relative, or how young I should ask? That's a hard question for me to answer since the last time I gave a first drone to a friend... it had altitude hold, auto takeoff and the props were protected in a cage. 2 weeks later, that guy bought a racer (Eachine Wizzard) and was doing manual flips & stuff! LMAO!!! My first drone, along with my two sons, was a totally manual flyer, no bells, no whistles. It was the Syma X-5C and I still recommend it today! POW!!!

Where does the SD card get installed? I'm assuming in the cell phone? Or is there a spot on the drone?
The drone has an onboard DVR. The video is recorded to SD card, inserted in the back of the camera. If no SD card is present, then video will be recorded to your phone App. Thanks for watching and your question. Happy flying buddy!!!

It does have the look of a micro P4P, but the size is closer to my old Mould King 33041 .. which also had the deep pitch props, which gave it a LOT of lift. They have a lot of nerve calling this a 1080P HD camera bird ... I'd say ditch the camera and put on either an 808 Keychain or, better yet, a Mobius Mini (with 'A' lens). The Mobius Mini will give you true 1080P video, and it has gyro ability to help cancel out jello/shake. As with all brushed motor toy grade quads, its easy to burn out motors .. even just with many flights. With that 1000mah battery, flight time will be long, and motor life short, I suspect (especially with that big, heavy, useless 'camera' hung on it). With the $15 discount, I guess $85 isn't too bad a price, although, I only paid $15 each for my last two Mould King 33041s. Too bad they don't offer it with a no camera option ... but then it wouldn't be FPV either. Oh well. BTW, Amazon is STILL selling the Syma X5C-1 for $47 .. with its camera, which actually has better on board video than this one. Doesn't have auto takeoff or altitude hold though. You're right though, as Snaptain goes, this one isn't too bad. Thanks for waiting out the wind and for the review. Cheers Bro-heem.
The onboard video sucked so bad, I didn't post my usual aerial shots with the music at the end of the video, lol🤣🤣🤣!!! It was not amazing bro!!! POW!!! Oh, by the way, thanks for the tip on the Syma X5. I may do a "throwback" video on mine with the Mobius Mini and I'm glad to know that you can still buy one at a bargain... who needs all that useless stuff they're putting on today's toy drones!!!
@@DJSOULFORCE Since you already have both a X5C TX & a X8C TX, you can buy a X5C-1 BNF for $25-$35 and use one of your old TXs. I would recommend using the X8C TX, since that will give you about 200m range. A couple years ago, I bought a X5C-1 BNF for $22, but you can still find them out there .. don't forget to try eBay as well. There appears to be a FPFX5C out there ... so don't get confused ... we don't need no stinking FPV on the X5C (although, I do have a AIO mounted on one of mine). POW!
My X5C-1 is fine and ready to fly. I fly it with my Jumper. I'm looking for good prices & links to provide to my potential viewers and perhaps earn a couple of Affiliate bucks for my next 12 pack, lol!!! I am looking to buy another Mobius mini, mine got bangged up (but it still works) pretty bad when my DHK Zombie got ran over by a real car!
@@DJSOULFORCE If you do get a new Mobius Mini, make sure you get one with the 'A' lens (narrow) ... it eliminates all fish-eye problems. BTW, the same mini-USB plug used on the regular Mobius for Video Out (for FPV use) can be used with the Mobius Mini. Cheers!

Unfortunately, you can not switch the transmitter to mode 1. Once upon a time, lots of drones were switchable, not sure why they don't make 'em like that anymore(?)!!! Good luck, thanks for watching!!!

That's for flying the drone with your smart phone using the virtual sticks.
Have you checked out the MJX Bugs series of quadcopters, like the Bugs 3? You can switch from Mode 1 to Mode 2 with MJX transmitters. ...just a thought!

When the drone is holding it's position and hovering in one spot... By pushing your left stick to the left or right, makes the drone spin or 'YAW' left or right! To push your right stick, left or right, that is to 'BANK' left or right. Right stick forward or backwards, is to 'PITCH' forward or backwards!!! I hope that helps, thanks for watching!!!
It's a good flyer but to be honest i liked the 600 better, it's just me
This quad is $40 too expensive. Back in the day you get the Mould King 33041 for $20.00. Of course depending on when you bought it and the color you chose you didn’t know which protocol you’d get or even what size motors. I have 3 mould kings. All on different protocols. One black fast yaw long range, one white regular yaw short range, and third white one with smaller motors.
I gotta agree with you. Most stuff sold on Amazon is overpriced! This is a nice flyer, but in my opinion, not worth the price. I reviewed it but can't really say I would have bought one, lol!!!!!

Can a I fit a JST 2000 mAh (3.7V) in the battery compartment??
It's a pretty tight fit using the stock battery. Your 2000mAh battery would have to be the same size, OR you can possibly mount the battery under the drone with Velcro! Good luck buddy, thanks for watching.

@@dalesimpson2805 There are SD cards that are faster than a class 10, but IT WILL NOT improve the video quality on this drone. MJX is notorious for installing cheap camera sensors in their drone, unfortunately!!!

Nice little toy quad, but for the price and brushed motors, yeh nah I will pass..For that sort of money I could get a Bugz with brushless motors...But great for a newbie to fly
