Alien Poker (Williams) gameplay on Visual Pinball X

One of the best conversions I've played on VPX. Thanks to JPSalas for this great table. Short video stuttering at about 10:00 is caused by the NVidia video recorder. Sorry about that.

Love the Williams sound chip...also used in lots of other Williams pinballs and video games...Defender being the most memorable video game

Indeed. There is actually a Defender pinball machine too. Google it. It's pretty good.

Indeed. This VPX version by JPSalas is very true to the original. And very tough table. I had to play quite a few games to achieve that score. One of the best machines ever without a doubt. Tony Ramunni's artwork is amazing.

I love your playing style (using brain always to hold ball with flippers to kick the ball to target accurately)
Unlike other players in youtube kick and kick and kick without thinking and lose the game quickly
maybe they think they can play a new game losing nothing if losing the game quickly so why do they have to use the brain to play the game?
it is a demand of self achievement to drive a player to get higher mark and to play longer and to make more replays

Thanks man. I spent my youth with these machines. It's quite amazing how well these have been implemented to Visual Pinball. Sure it can never be the exact same of course but it's pretty good. The exact same tactics and styles that work on the real Alien Poker (trust me, I played it excessively when I was a kid) work in this VP version too, which is quite cool. Cheers.

True. Amazing sounds so why not use them again. I think Alien Poker had much more speech than Firepower. This era of Williams was incredible. Black Knight, Firepower, Alien Poker being the best of the best. Blackout was pretty good too. Cheers.
