- Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 Remake - Got There - Complete all "Hard" Get-Theres. [Gold]
There are 19 Hard Get Theres in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 Remake / Remaster (PS4 / Xbox One / PC).
They require you to string together a series of specific gaps in each level. There's one per level. None are missable, you can replay these levels at any time to retry. You can see which Hard Get-Theres you finished under: Challenges - Skate Park Challenges - THPS1/2 Get-Theres.
The best way to do them is in Free Skate mode.
IMPORTANT: MODS/ASSISTS/CHEATS MUST BE TURNED OFF (THEY VOID THE HARD GET THERES)! THIS IS WHAT MAKES THESE SO HARD.
The Hard Get-There's are by far the toughest challenge for the platinum / 1000 Gamescore. It will take a lot of practice. It's best to keep these for last when you're done with everything else. Try to replicate the video 1:1 every step of the way.

Don't know if this helps maybe for at least one person, but found out on my own that before landing into a manual you can hold X to maintain your momentum and speed. Wish I had figured out before the first 3 levels!

Update: #9 Rosewell @ 3:40 has been patched. Now requires "Low Deck Gap" instead of "High Deck Gap" in the beginning (this makes it easier).

GOT A QUESTION...HOW DO WE BALANCE THE METER SO WE DONT FALL OFF..EVERYTIME I GET TO END OF METER I FALL..I SEE ALOT OF PEOPLE BALANCING THERE METER FOR A LONG TIME..I HAVE XBOX
@@jademarks4469 I might be too late but if not, try to move it as little as possible. I have xbox and I use the d pad to control the meter and just tap left or right in the beginning just enough to save yourself. If you use the joystick you might over do it and bail.
A while after that, when it gets moving like crazy it’s just dumb luck and patience. Also try using Rodney Mullen (manual expert) or a character you use the most. Maybe that’s just me but I think it helps🤷🏽♂️

Finally got them all. Genuinely did not think I was good enough to push through some of these, but so happy it's over now. Bullring was the most painful; so many hours spent grinding.
If anyone needs any motivation, keep going. It seems impossible right now, but with enough time you'll get it.

Im having an absolute blast with this game. I thought it was gonna be OKAY but God I love this game!
I agree, I just wish the Online Multiplayer wasn't total trash. It is so "lonely" playing online. Back in the THPS3 days and on, the multiplayer was what kept the replay value of the game. And it was the most fun. With this game, all the fun is offline. Any multiplayer I do is with friends only, and using Zoom

For Roswell challenge, seems that you do not have to use High Deck gap anymore but the Low Deck gap to succeed. Much easier.
I just did it twice using high deck gap but turns out its low deck now lol

thanks for this vid.......watching you hit that 2nd grind on the rail headed towards ‘nailin the rail’ is what put me over for this get hard. I lacked the speed to hit the quarter-pipe but not any longer!
Personally I found Mall, School 2 and bullring the hardest - all the rest were easy in comparison. Never give up guys! Remember the Training is NOTHING! The Will is EVERYTHING!!

@@KaimiKaZee bullring is def the hardest, try to break up the move into small sets. It does require a little luck especially the end when the balance meter is very spaz. You got this bro keep practicing, it’s worth the effort t trust me, you’ll feel so satisfied when you pull it off !
Regarding Mall combo, you don't need to manual through whole hallway at the end, you can use pipe to jump on one of the rails on the side and just grind all the way through it and in the end if you're having speed issues while doing manual, you can just grind on wooden panel in there to gain speed before doing last jump with wall ride combo.

man... no words for this trophy. I finally got it! almost 10 days, 3 or 4 hours per day. Almost gave up in Bullring... that trophy is a way more insane than Crash Bandicoot 1 time trials.
Just a heads up for everyone. The Roswell one has been patched to make it the lower deck instead of the mega one. I've spent 3 hours trying to do the one in the video, finally did it only for the challenge to remain unchecked. then I saw its been changed. DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!

I feel you and i know what gap you are having trouble with, hope they patch it soon.
If you are struggling with grinding the rail after the wall bounce thing, I found as soon as you bounce off do an acid drop then grind immediately. I hit it every time.

I got plat on both PS4- and PS5-versions but I hope that if they make more remakes, these should be separate challenges where you can just restart the challenge. It's so tedious to skate back to the starting position and try again.
That balance on venice beach my god, you were practically stopped at the end there.
Venice was really painful it will always be a wobbly mess if you even manage to land on the front of the giant table to begin with.
On skate heaven I did the first 2 gaps the same, then jump to the right rail to hit the third, and finished like the video. No need to manual all the way around to get it that way.
The secret to Roswell is timing. You must double tap the up arrow in advance of reaching the vert's tip where you pop off. Halfway across the gap, hold R2 to initiate the acid drop and make sure you come off R2 before landing so you can revert/manual!

Downhill jam is super inconsistent for me, it rarely registers the first one going up but it feels like I'm doing it exactly like in this video.
You can land the Skate Heaven get there without that manual at the end if you land the Southern Intersect Sad Gap directly after the Mid Gap so basically just go Northern, Mid, Southern Intersect, Southern Crossover.
School 2 was an absolute nightmare for me to complete.
Besides that level I really enjoyed going through and grinding the challenges
Just decided to 100% this game since I didn't have anything else new at the time, I thought that was going to be the reason I didn't finish. It's not even a unique route really, just see how long you can manual and grind. Miserable

Wow I'm stuck at the second one for about an hour hahah this game is no joke. I struggle to keep the combo when you switch board round to keep the combo going after hitting the floor. I can't figure it out yet.
Ok mall took me like 20-25 goes, skatepark only took like 4. Im starting to believe although im scared looking at the comments of some levels 😆
I thought getting through roswell was a huge achievement and I was gonna get a few easier levels.... then school 2 was like “hold my beer fam”
Any help on getting over the ramp? The rest of it looks pretty easy but I can’t seem to do the first gap. Do I boneless first and then hold down up to exit the ramp?
Jarvis Morris are you referring to roswell bro? If so, the key is kinda in the timing. You need to ideally boneless out and do a wall plant off a back wall then press R2 at the highest point to acid drop. As you fall do not hold X, only hold x as you reach the ramp then do a quick double tap of up to boneless and keep holding forward. You can then hold R2 I believe just over halfway over the jump and with a bit of luck you’ll see the acid drop animation on the other side. As soon as you see it happening remember to tap r2 again to revert and then manual. Btw someone said on reddit the markers on the ramp (white lines) can help with the timing. Just gotta get a feel for it tbh. Once I got the hang of the little speed burst you get off only pressing x when reaching the ramp you’ll get much closer and maybe start getting it one in 10 times rather than 1 in 50 or so like i was lol.

Jarvis Morris yer rest aint too bad, i failed a couple of times due to not having enough speed up the ramp where the alien is though so try to get a bot of speed before there and jump into another manual half way up if needed to maintain speed. Just dont do what I did & miss an easy grind and have to try another 100 times lol

TIP VENICE BEACH : For the Ramp 2 Roof, hit R2 real late to turn sideways and land on the rail. Almost got it consistent like 4 out 5 times
Yup this and you need to kinda launch right off the corner. If you go too far right you’ll probs just get the vent gap (cos the game stupidly thinks you’ve launched from the roof vent) however too far left and you’ll probs get neither gap and/or mess the jump up.

I had no clue that you could go backwards for the Downhill Jam one, so I kept failing trying to get it right via going the whole way down, jumping and manualing back to that start, and then bailing every time I got to the big gap with the pipe you need to madonna.

@6:04 when you make the Canyon Jump, go to the fat left side of the vent and don’t Ollie off the roof, just drop down into a manual. This will line you up better for the Touchdown and take the speed off as going too fast will stitch you up. Best of luck!

I’ve “landed” mall 3 times and had the 3 gaps within the combo but the challenge isn’t triggering (no mods)- so frustrating!
Never mind! Was hitting the last “huge stair gap” from the top of the ledge (not under) which is actually a different gap, in case anyone has this same issue!

This is it. This is where I draw the line. The gaps on Skate Heaven pushed me to my breaking point, and this is the absolute nail in the coffin for me. The things they expect you to do for this are absolutely absurd, and even if I did manage to do all of this after hours and hours and hours of pain, I would still have to grind to level 100 from 62, and who knows how long that would take me. I played this game for 27 hours and about 12 of those hours were absolute misery. They really really really fucked up on this trophy list. This is a great game but stuff like this severely hurt my enjoyment

nearly at the end of this bar for level 100 and hard get theres ,,,,,,been doing roswell all way through and did not get the challenge until i noticed its low deck and not high deck as your doing in the video then i got challenge as done

2 days, both days with at least a 2 hours session on school 2 finally got it. Finally done mall, downhill jam, school 2, Venice Beach and the bullring were the worst imo.

This has been difficult and very rewarding. I only have four left but those four are school 2, Venice, Bullring, and Skate Heaven. That might take me longer than the rest combined.

Nate Crossway i got it eventually dude just gotta persevere with it, its a pain in the ass, just try different angles and making sure you start the grind at the edge, it might do lip trick sometimes by accident or miss it altogether though. If you manage to make it and grind the other side as you jump off pause your game and if you’re maxed out lower your speed stat by 3 dunno if it was tip on this video or another but it helps to make the jumps without losing control/overshooting. Roswell just took me like 5 hours btw lol
Yes that part a challenge u can also get setup from the top angle , just roll to it slightly adjust repeat until you are lined ...then grind , also what really helped me was lowering my speed down from max, -5 really helped during manual
I was having trouble grinding that rail too so I decided to do it the way it was intended... combo to the bottom of the run and then respawn at the top of the map and combo back to that rail.

Если вы также палируете это игру до конца, то это ачива для вас станет болью, но в итоге вы повысите скиллы)) мой совет- если у вас не получается взять челлендж на каком- то уровне, то отложите его на время и займитесь другим. Тренируйте отдельно гэпы , которые у вас идут хуже всего в линии. Ну и верьте в себя. Все получится!!Удачи)

I did all that then day later finished all gaps and my game corrupted RIP. Also was level 72 with almost everything bought but 1 board and higher level boards of course. Either way I loved this game a lot did it like 2-3 weeks ago but now I look back and remember suffering through all these hard get there's just to corrupt a day later. Long story short back up those saves so you don't have my problem as my little ones turned off my backup saving RIP THPS 1+2 how I miss you already.
I’m still at this a year later and still cannot get most of them. Mall is just killing me. For me it’s balance, always balance. I cannot get the balance right on anything. Think it’s time to give up on this plat.
I've done the philadelphia one 4 times and still have not gotten it. I think it like downhill jam where it decides if you get the gap or not.

Fakz GamingTV do the wall plant into acid drop and don’t start holding x until you just start to go up the ramp then quickly press up twice and hold it on the second press and then release x at the last moment to boneless. Then spam R2 to make the connection with a acid drop. Once I did it like that I made it super consistently. Hope this helps.

Venice is kicking my ass. You make that ramp 2 roof and transition to the canyon gap look too easy and ITS NOT haha
Hit r2 during the first transition and grind the vent where you land. Coming back across the canyon I found it a lot easier to just grind the high roof then jump across, rather than dropping down to the middle roof first.

Lol, I just realized after 30+ hours playing that you can hold X to maintain speed during a manual, I thought that was only for regular skating. This game does a terrible job of telling you it's mechanics.
true. Use it in your combo's. Although with holding 'x' your balance meter seems to go nuts faster.

Keep practicing and take breaks every now and then! I know I had the hardest time with School 2 and Marseille, but I took a break and switched to my d-pad on controller for balance and was able to nail both in little time. I found that just playing and having fun is also the easiest way possible to improve, especially for balance

hold X (or the jump button) as soon as you start the manual
Don’t grind so long because you lose speed. If you have a good grind speed and start the manual before you go down the ramp you should have plenty of speed to get up
@@VCardGaming as long as you leave the rail during a grind, you will gain speed. Meaning ollie up and then grind back on the rail, you'll keep your speed. The longer you stay on a grind the slower you go, and i'm pretty sure most grinds gaps, don't have a penalty for jumping on while grinding.

I cannot for the life of me work out how you keep so much speed up for some of the jumps. I've got max stats and its like I'm moving on sand.
Hold X while doing a manual
I felt the same way. Keep in mind a few seconds rolling forward or a few half pipe airs and you’re at max speed (not counting huge drop ins or transitions). for a lot of these (Roswell especially) I found it was more about timing (doing a boneless perfectly and hitting the acid drop button at the right time).
@@Max-mj8sl Oddly enough I didnt struggle with Roswell after I got the massive gap down. The mall however I felt like my grinds and manuals were in mud.

Make sure you hold X while you do the manual, it helps you keep the speed

Press and hold down the "X" button on playtation or "A" button on xbox to keep momentum while manualling, i was struggling with this too.

in my game for the challange in Roswell it says "Low Deck Gap"
i was doing it over and over again until i read it and sure enough it was a Low Deck Gap for the 1st trick. Idunno how or why you got a trophy doing High Deck. perhaps they updated it to make it easier. i have a clip of the instance.

for some the get there on Roswell doesn’t register for me. I’ve had it multiple times now. wtf someone! anyone having these issues?
I lost 2 hours on the same and they changed it to the low deck, check the in-game description.
