We voted in Arkansas that you have to present an ID. WE THE VOTERS DID!! Our governor said that if we have to mail ballots you will still have to show ID to cast it and he plans on polls being open with safety precautions. Makes sense to me!!

You get application for ballots . not ballot .must send in with alot of INFORMATION. If you have a ballot you had to fill out form frist then send in. How did you get ballot without filling in information.

The greater accommodation, must be unto those who are stricken, with not only the pending COVID-19, yet also, other disabilities, also to include other home bound issues.. School students, along with College students, such as me, during my Collegiate years, were accommodated by being able to do my class at home, which I could have, also knowing, many have plagiarized school work... Accommodation must be permissible, for to accommodate...

In California they are already mailing out ballots, a 89 yr old woman somehow received over 70ballots. Years ago, my wife and I were out shopping or something. When we got home, there was a envelope in our mailbox, naming those eligible to vote in our household. It named me, my wife and our dog, George. George Haveman....our DOG. Come voting day, we went to our designated voting station and sure enough, on the voter's list, there he was, George Haveman....our dog.
Fortunately, we live in Canada and we have to show ID when we vote. Since there is no George Haveman, and our dog can't vote, George Haveman didn't vote. It wasn't tallied. However, if you didn't have to show ID, anyone could walk in, claim he was George Haveman and vote for his favourite candidate.
I have to say, even though I'm Canadian and I've no say in it, Democrats are either foolishly naive or they want the ability to cheat in the elections. It's not a stretch to assume that they're not naive.

Sedwick Creekmur...they have absentee voting already, nearly all states. The question is why the Dems want to take away more restrictions on absentee voting?? Judicial Watch signed a settlement agreement with the State of California and County of Los Angeles under which they will begin the process of removing from their voter registration rolls as many as 1.5 million inactive registered names that may be invalid. These removals are required by the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA).
Judicial Watch sued CA over voter fraud within the state:
Los Angeles County has more voter registrations on its voter rolls than it has citizens who are old enough to register. Specifically, according to data provided to and published by the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, Los Angeles County has a registration rate of 112 percent of its adult citizen population.
The entire State of California has a registration rate of about 101 percent of its age-eligible citizenry.
Eleven of California’s 58 counties have registration rates exceeding 100 percent of the age-eligible citizenry.
The lawsuit confirmed that Los Angeles County has on its rolls more than 1.5 million potentially ineligible voters. This means that more than one out of every five LA County registrations likely belongs to a voter who has moved or is deceased. Judicial Watch notes that “Los Angeles County has the highest number of inactive registrations of any single county in the country.”
The Judicial Watch lawsuit also uncovered that neither the State of California nor Los Angeles County had been removing inactive voters from the voter registration rolls for the past 20 years.

Also the mortality rates for this pandemic are far worse in those countries with some being 6 times higher than the US. And not all those countries have publicly funded higher education. It's never been easier to vote in Palm Beach County. We are living in uncertain times, and no one knows what the effect of COVID-19 will be as we enter this very important election season. We want the highest voter turnout possible, and we encourage you to request a Vote-by-Mail ballot for upcoming elections." This Supervisor of Elections was appointed by Republican Governor Ron DeSantis, to replace a Democrat that previously filed that position. 🤔🤫🤥😔😳💩. Come on people. What the heck? It's legal in the USA, that a third entity is allowed to take my ballot sheet and put it into the mail for me?
That's completely illegal in the whole of Europe! When you do vote in mail, you are even required to sign a sheet (that is separated from the ballot itself), that you have made that vote yourself and if anybody else would sign that, he could be sued heavily.
In Germany we vote by mail in the way, that we first PERSONALLY sign up for vote-in-mail, which is only allowed, when we KNOW, that we will be absent from our constituency, then we get the mail ballot by the post service. We have there two envelopes and two papers inside: One is the ballot. Which we put into a small RED envelope. Then we have to fill out the sheet with our informations and the signage, that we did the voting by ourselves. That sheet together with the red envelope goes into a bigger blue one, which we seal again. And this whole package we put into the mail. And only the mail. Nobody else is allowed to take it and bring it for us into the postal office.
And that mail has to be delivered by the postal service before sunday, 18 o'clock to our counting office. Where the blue envelope is opened, the sheet goes to one side (to check, if we haven't voted twice, in mail and at election day) and the red envelope goes to another room in the counting office, where the letter is opened, the ballot (which has no name on it (it would be invalid, if we sign it)) is taken out and put with the other voting ballots in a basket and is taken again to another big room, often the city hall, where it will be counted together with the ballots of the election day.

I lived in Germany long ago for two years. I never saw a better organized country in my life. I used to tell a story about a truck that slid into my parked car late one snowy night that my friends here in America had a hard time believing. Incredible.

Remember 2016 Wisconsin and Michigan mail in ballots were found to have names like Mickey Mouse, and Tom Sawyer. Big Bird voted a total of ninety seven times in Clark County.

It's very complicated to safely vote by mail.
In my country you must first register (with an ID of course) and pick up the ballot in person (NOT BY MAIL!). It has 2 envelopes. One with the certified address/voter-number containing a second one which will contain the actual ballot and is anonymous. When the mailed envelope shows up at the voting district, it's checked for validity, opened and the containing ballot-envelope is collected unopened. On election day all the mail in ballots are opened and checked and counted by all party's voting delegates. You should not start the counting before the election day since the resulting estimates (which will of course leak to the public) are prone to manipulate voters behaviour. Fraud in this case is very difficult. However, there is no guarantee that your ballot makes it to the endpoint and make your voice count. But the list of all registered mail-in voters at least helps us finding out how many mail-in-ballots went missing.

When the 2012 election came around, I was serving in the military. So I registered for mail in voting, having been stationed in one state, but being a resident to another. By the time I received my ballot, Barry Oboob was already inaugurated.

I was mailed absentee ballot and I wrote all over it: I do not consent. Bugs bunny for office. It's not the vote that counts, it's who counts the vote.
Oregon had been doing mail-in ballots my entire life (40 years). I've never known any other method for voting and honestly have never felt like my vote actually counts. Nevertheless, I never fail to take adequate time to vote responsibly, as my proud civic duty. My state is VERY red, except for the Portland Metropolis, and yet I can't remember a time our electoral votes have ever gone that way. It's very sad!! 😭

The facts are after an exhaustive investigation after the 2016 election of President Trump the commission presented 8,400 instances of double voting in the 2016 election in 20 states. These instances were spread almost equally for both Republicans and Democrats and had no effect on the results. This compares with Trump making unsubstantiated claims that between 3 million and 5 million ballots were illegally cast. Postal ballots are the norm in most democratic countries and have been used increasingly by both parties. There is no evidence that postal votes have been fraudulent. The reality is that postal votes make it more likely that people will vote and at a time when people are avoiding contact with the COVID 19 virus an obviously good and safe alternative than queuing to vote in person.

That's too close to a draft card. Why shouldn't you be able to use either your driver's license or state ID? You are already tracked through that. Why do we need to spend more money on a redundant system that still won't work?
