- Our area is under a Tornado Watch and so all of the kid's schools have dismissed early for the day. All except for Maya's school that is. But that's OK - Lucy has a lot of fun activities planned for the day while we're all couped up inside during the storm.

It’s crazy that every time I would get a new interest, Addy and/or Maya also have the same one. When Addy had her Harry Potter birthday, I was also super into Harry Potter. Maya also with her Taylor Swift party. And I saw Addy put Grayson Hawthorne when they played MASH. I loveeee The Inheritance Games, but I like Jameson more. 😂😅 It’s almost like I grew up with them.

Hey Lucy! I’m here writing this from Canada! And I’m telling you that weather like that in the summer is so common! We always get a sunny day then suddenly it starts pouring you can’t even see outside! There’s also high wind, Theres a chance you could lose electricity. But after 30 mins have past you’ll see the sun again 😂

They must live somewhere where tornadoes aren’t necessarily common. I’m in Oklahoma (Just south of the mid point of tornado alley) and tornadoes for us are very frequent. For us, even if there is a tornado watch, we have school.

I remember back in the summer of 2015 when a huge major storm hit Quincy, IL and we were without power for over 20 hours. Roof tiles fell off and branches were broken and we even had to scoop water out of our sump pump.
