Shaddad bin Aus narrates:
The Prophet ﷺ, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
“The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is:
اللّٰهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي،
لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ،
خَلَقْتَنِيْ وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ،
وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ،
أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ،
أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَىَّ
وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِيْ،
فَاغْفِرْ لِيْ،
فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوْبَ إِلَّاأَنْتَ
Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa anta, Khalaqtani wa ana ‘abduka,
wa ana ‘ala ‘ahdika wa wa‘dika mastata‘tu,
a‘udhu bika min sharri ma sana‘tu,
abu-u laka bini‘matika ‘alaiyya,
wa abu‘u laka bidhanbi
faghfirli,
fa-innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa anta
O Allah,
You are my Lord;
There is no Diety except You.
You created me and I am Your servant.
And I abide by Your oath and promise [that I may honour it] to the best of my ability.
I seek refuge with You from every evil I have committed.
I acknowledge Your favour upon me and I acknowledge my sin,
so forgive me,
for surely there is no one who can forgive sins except You.
(Sahih al-Bukhari)

The part about believing injustice should have been explained a bit better. If I see people suffering somewhere does that mean they did something wrong? I am not saying I don't believe in Allah's justice but explanation here should have been better. This part has made me a bit confused .
Justice here meant His laws.
As an adult (baligh), we are held accountable. We may see people suffer or being opressed, are they free of sins? We don't know, only Allah knows. There are sins that we cannot see, eg shirk, suuzhon, false belief so on.
If we are in the position of a child who is not yet held accountable, have no sins, and we're being opressed, then we refer to AtTaghabun verse 11. Wallaahua'lam

If one of you finishes from the last Tashahud ,
then he should seek refuge with Allah
from four things : he says:
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ
مِنْ عَذَابِ القَبْر،
وَمِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ،
وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ،
وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسيحِ الدَّجَّالِ
Allaahumma ‘innee a’oothu bika
min adhaabil-qabr,
wa min ‘adhaabi Jahannam,
wa min fitnatil-Mahyaa wal Mamaat,
wa min sharri Fitnatil-Maseehid-Dajjal
O Allah, I take refuge in You
From the punishment of the grave,
And from the torment of the Fire,
And from the trials and tribulations
of life and death
And from the evil affliction of
Al-Maseeh Ad-Dajjal
