  • "5 Decisive Stages to the Holocaust" is an exploration of key events that paved the way to the Holocaust. Adolf Hitler's rise to power, the institutionalization of discrimination with the Nuremberg "Race Laws" in 1935, the orchestrated violence of the November 9 pogroms in 1938, the occupation of Eastern European territories in World War II and the chilling directives of the Wannsee Conference in 1942, each event deepened the persecution of Jews. Through archival footage and expert analysis we explore the historical context of this dark chapter in German history.

May we never allow the holocost to become a prelude to an ever larger and repeating nightmare.

I fear this deadly poison may return to us. We must never forget what did happen and understand that we are they who must prevent another misanthropic nightmare from becoming our present reality.

Most countries in Europe share some degree of responsibility for the Holocaust and Axis war effort, but this uncomfortable aspect of history is seldom discussed. Instead, Germans take 100% blame for everything. This history is not true.
Poland was the most anti-Semitic country in Europe pre-war
    Croatia instituted its own Holocaust
Romania joined in the war and created its own KL camp system, exterminating many Roma Jews.
Britain refused emigration of Jews to the new Israel
The Netherlands deported the largest percentage of its Jews
Hungary cooperated in the deportation of 750,000 Jews
The Viche French deported all foreign Jews from France
And so on...the guilt can be shared everywhere.

By the way, the Jews were also the neighbours of Italians, French, Croatians, Ukrainians, Dutch, Belgians etc. Etc. They all happily participated! I know the Germans want always to portray themselves as the worse…

Can you not put the dates in a European/Nritish format, rather than American? That’s so confusing and silly!

My opinion may sound shocking and controversial, but I think the victims of Holocaust aren't responsible for the government of Netanyahu

Good question. Maybe because, I believe, it's illegal to deny the Holocaust in Germany.
There are lots of German Jews in Germany once again, btw.
