I wish I saw more of the apartment too but there’s no need to attack the person. So many negative comments to someone that seems completely fine.
This was a weird one. She comes off pretentious and we got no real look into how she actually lives. Like storage, kitchen.

Lol! Maybe the bathroom is huge but they didn't show it because it's not 'consistent' enough? Honestly I pay 580$ for a 1 bedroom in Montreal with a bigger balcony so I expected her to have a pool or something. I feel there is more to this story..

Let’s get some more diverse style on this series! There’s plenty of people out there with cool, interesting tastes. Even if you found some vintage inspired places or industrial inspired places.. there’s gotta be more than just mid century modern. And why did we only see her bedroom? Seeing a kitchen and bathroom says everything about whether or not a place is worth the money you pay for it which is what this whole series is about

I pay 1300 for a one bed on Hollywood by some bars and stores. She’s being shafted for this studio. Sad, really.

i live in vienna where rent is pretty expensive, but 1750€ could easily get you a 3-4 room apartment ranging from 80-100 m2...

I love the layout of this space. It’s so efficient but looks so spacious even with the small square footage.
I liked this one. I would have loved to see her full apartment space - the kitchen, bathroom and closet. I think she has figured out a way to make the best use of such a small space. It feels cozy and inviting without being too cramped.

This is a very cute space, but we didn't see the kitchen or bathroom! OR the cute little balcony there! These are all part of the space too. I would love to see her closet if she had one. I do appreciate how clean, bright, and airy the space is.

I had a 2 br in west LA for 2100$ with a balcony and gated parking.. and Culver City was like 5 min drive..don’t understand how 350$ less equates to a studio.. this is why rent is so high and neighborhoods get gentrified so quick.. White people move here and drive the prices up by paying literally anything.. yikes.

As someone who also recently moved to LA, this is super consistent with other places I saw on the Westside. If you’re not from the area and don’t have time to wait for something that’s a good price, and you want to be in Culver City or Santa Monica, this is standard. There are other locations that are definitely cheaper though- LA is a really varied rental market.
also it seems like she’s got a real kitchen on the other side of that bar, and the private outdoor space
I love her apartment! 💕 It is not my style, but it is cute, clean and everything she showed us seems to have its own place. Although, I wish we got to see more the kitchen, bathroom and storage areas, too.

Well I for one liked this, sure it would've been nice to see the kitchen and bathroom but I love the aesthetic and I'm glad they mostly cover NY and LA because I'm thinking of moving there next year from Europe! A lot of you are saying she's getting ripped off, are the rent prices lower in LA than NYC?

As a record connoisseur it’s really hard to see people still using Crosley Cruisers. They are super esthetic BUT they ruin your vinyls!

I don’t mind the space (I know some people are tired of the mid century look, but overall her space is cohesive), but my question is why are her floating shelves places so far up the wall? It looks like she can barely reach it when she’s discussing items on it. Otherwise, floating shelves are great to have.
To keep things positive I also like her corgi (super cute) and how she got him a bed that matches her pillow so it still goes with the style, the balcony is nice to have (especially right now), and the shiplap on the wall (adds some nice character to the space.
I’ve heard Culver City can be a nice place to live, but it is pricey. The amount she’s paying for a studio apartment sounds about right unfortunately.
