Palladiums only real use is catalytic converters, but these converters won't apply to electric cars, so palladium isn't worth buying. Rhodium doesn't have that many uses either, even though it's very rare and expensive. Also, it's very difficult to sell it at spot price, or even close to spot price. The last time I tried to sell mine I was offered 20% below spot. Platinum isn't that popular either when it comes to securing your wealth. Yes, it has its uses but it's not known or used as much as Gold or Silver. IMO only stick to gold & silver.
If you are in the UK you should only buy gold , the premiums and VAT on the other metals will make it highly unlikely they will outperform gold for physical collectors . Having a small amount as you like it is fair enough but purely as an investment is a real no no.

I bought a 1oz platinum brittannia for the same reason, just for some diversification. I bought mine for £1,100 from the royal mint about a year ago
Maybe buy a little bit just to scratch the itch. But they are not monetary instruments.
Other metals are more of a gamble whereas for gold, u can be sure it will eventually go up
I’d consider a small amount but I think gold is much more stable
Thanks for stopping by MDB, and I agree, it's wiser to have gold and silver as the main PMs in your stack.

Not only high premiums but are much harder to sell..stick to traditiinal money
Everyone knows gold and silver. I have no interest in the rest.
