Kaiju No. 8 was truly 1 of our favorite anime this season and we can't wait for season 2!
They are fighting to bring back all kaijus power back from humans hand I think that not only includes Kafka power but also the weapons made by humans using kaiju Like kaijuno .2 weapon the weapon in kikaru hand etc...
No.9 wants the Kaiju weapons made from numbered Kaiju is what he wants not Kaiju no 8 he wants to kill him!😱
This first season of Kaiju no 8 was a banger, if I had to rate it, it would be a 9.8 out of 10

The only disappointing thing was the character design wasn't like the manga.

Kafka is actually 5 years older than Mina. That's why you can see how Kafka much taller than Mina as a child.
4:19 Kafka didnt teleport his core behind Gen. Shinomiya - he spat it out in the moment General's strike, leaving empty corpse as a decoy so he could in meantime regenerating himself from that very core. Considering how much stamina regeneration of one or two lost limb consumes, imagine how much of it such a move took. Quite uintessential of going berserker.
Kafka is highly connected to the kaiju that his heart became the core. And No. 9 means the numbered weapons when he says, "Get the power back"

The weapons made from identified Kaiju are called “Numbers weapons”.
So far the only numbers weapon introduced has been Isao’s #2 suit and arms
there is another one shown in this episode but not highlighted.

Director General Shinomiya pushed Kafka to see if he could maintain control in a crisis. That's what he was feeling hopeless about before Kafka changed. He saw that Kafka was not driving that body.
That little trick with his core, being able to push it away and regenerate around it, makes me wonder if a weapon made from him would work anyway.
They want to get the weapons that were made from the Kaiju back. They aren't specifically targeting Kafka.

One thing that Isao didn’t mention in the anime but did mention in the manga during the reunion is that even if they did convert Kafta into a weapon, someone needs to be compatible with said weapon, or else it gets stored until further notice.
That part where he twisted his back, reminds me of Tokyo ghoul where he twisted his leg and turn around to attack

Gen, as FIRST DIVISION Captain, is second only to the Commander and the ELDEST longest serving heads of the divisions.

This year had a lot of good anime, waiting for s2 is goona be hard. Cause they gonna take a while. Also s2 is gonna be banger with way more fights, so animation needs to be top tier.
When she was talking about kafka like it cool and all but she got too much into her feeling, it a political crisis not her saying "he got a heart" i laughed because i knew what they will say, plus, he doesn't have it anymore and emotion never comes from the heart it in your brain the heart just registered it and all it does is beat like defend my boi like a lawyer not like a friend, shoo Kafka lucky the top dawg defended him😂

You have it wrong......No.9 wants to retrieve the weapons that are made from Kaiju. He clearly knows that he can't stand up to no.8 without it, based on the last fight. He doesn't know who no.8 is too. He doesn't know that No8 works for the Defense force now.

I hate the saying "there is no precedent." How could there ever be a precedent if you don't set it? There is no precedent of turning a human turned kaiju into a weapon, yet that is what they want to do. It's the stupidest reason to use.

Nah Kafka is becoming a Kaiju the more he uses his power the more his body stops reverting back to human! Currently the max he’s supposed to be in Kaiju form is 30 minutes or he’ll never be able to turn back to human form! You’re welcome!
