I’ve had a Tundra 75 for two years. Overpriced? Yes. However they are the best cooler on the market so they can name their price.
I agree, I have the 110 also, I've had it since about 2012, I used to camp in the bush. It performed very well. Really appreciate your input!
I’m sure this video is gonna blow up! I know a few ppl with busted handles and didn’t know how to fix it. So I’ll be tossin this video around. 🤙🏼
I'm really surprised that those rubber handles break like they do.
That’s for uploading this. This was very helpful
Awesome!! Thank you for the info I really like my yeti. But once it broke I was unsure of how to replace the handles. I will once again use it on my hunting and fishing trips!!
It was easier than you thought. I was sure glad when I figured it out
Great video Cody
Thanks folks, you guys have been really hitting the water lately!!!
Glad I saw this. I thought it was 1 long pin without a head and I've been trying to beat it through out the other end!
Camera angles are top notch.
I'd sure like to learn graphics from you
Bless this video. Just made my dads day!
Awesome
I've had a Tundra 45 for about 5 years now. I actually got it used so I don't know how old it really is, but it have lived in the bed of my truck in the sun, rain, ice, and snow the entire time and it has held up great. One of the handles finally broke, which is the reason I watched this video. It was very helpful. Overall this has been the best cooler I have ever had by far!
I still like mine except for how heavy it gets lugging it around
@@After5Outdoors the second of two drawbacks of Yeti coolers... They are heavy for sure.
Is the other, the price😆
Love my peak series by adventures cooler
There are alot of well made coolers now!
Easy Peezy. It does seem a little expensive but it you have the cooler you want it closed tight. Thanks. Nice to see how it’s done.
😀
Great video buddy! I have a RTIC 65 cooler which are identical to a Yeti and love it!! I have your sticker on it lol!!
LOL awesome. I had a friend that used to work at Cabelas and got it at a discount rate. Ive had it for about 6 or 7 years already!
Great video I liked it very well made and instructions was clear.
Hopefully it helps someone who was in the bind I was!
I just bought the same cooler, used, on FB Marketplace ($200). It came w/o a drain plug, bought one at Dick’s Sporting Goods but the Roadie 20 & 24 have different size plugs. Found one on Amazon for less than $10 (actually came with 2 plugs) and problem solved. I will be replacing the latches since I don’t know how old my cooler is, so thanks for the how-to.
Defeats purpose with broken latches lol appreciate it sir nice vid
Those rubber tie downs are covered under warranty no need to purchase ! Yeti just sent me brand news ones!
Thanks - got a tundra haul (wheeled) and handle broke - I thought the rod went all the way thru and I was screwed - so thanks! Cost me too much also have a Walmart Lifetime 55Q and it pretty much keeps the things just as well and the handle will not break :) for 25% of the cost. The wieght of all the rotomolded coolers is the biggest problem for me. Honestly I've seen too many videos where they test ICE to conclude the Yeti performance is worth 2-4 times the cost. But I got mine because I wanted "The Best" - no complaints other than the T handle.
They are heavy for sure. Thanks for the input!
Thanks for the video, helpful. I have several Yeti's and on their site you can get medium size T-Latches for $13.00. Really like the heavy duty quality of the Yeti, I'm amazed at the prices, however. Buying a limited edition cooler you'll get a better return than if you purchase some Large Cap stocks! Crazy!
Appreciate the feedback!
Very cool! Funny too!
Thanks for checking it out my friend!
Extremely helpful. Thank you!!
Thank you for watching!!
Good job brother right to the pointtttttt
Thanks for watching man!
Great "how to" Cody. As much as Yeti's cost, they ought to fix themselves.
Lol I agree, the T latches really are about the only thing that can fail
Great video. Yeti products are very well designed but possibly a little overpriced. I think there are some competitors who have copied their idea and for a little better value. Thank you for sharing. Like
Luckily I had a friend that was able to get me a discount on my coolers!
Thank you just broke mine today on a cooler 6 years old
I never thought they would break
Good 🎥
Many thanks sir!
Hey bud hope you’re good and all.
You think it’s be possible to do this on the hinge side to do a lid swap? I have 2 different colors and it’d be pretty cool to swap the lids. Kinda like when buddy had a different color gameboy and you swap battery covers. Cheers bud.
@@Σατανας666 yup I think so
Thanks!
Thank you!
This was very helpful, I have the same one and have the same problem. I was about to just purchase a whole new cooler.
I was curious when mine broke, in the end, a very simple fix. Appreciate you checking it out
@@After5Outdoors no problem, I might as well replace both soon the other one will break off
I even bought a spare set
@@After5Outdoors I've had mine for 4 years I figured it was time, I gotta use a pad lock until I can order the new latches
I found em a bit cheaper on ebay
I see alot of comparison videos on the yeti!
Quite a few yes!
Like a rubber tire they dry crack . If a guy was to wipe them down every year with like a tire shine they may last longer .
Good video... They say Good cooler... Ice is pretty cheap... Expensive cooler....
It's been a good cooler, for backwoods trips n all it's been great
Good/ easy explanation. But could have gotten to the point quicker. Thanks! 5/5⭐️
Glad it was helpful!
I got a big one same color as yours I want hunting orange color latches
Paint??
When I saw that pin, I thought for sure that it went all the way to the other side and riveted.
I was thinking that too honestly
Hello I’m from DaddyDucks channel
Howdy, thanks for stopping by!
Do you know if the hinge side pin removes and reinstalls in the same way? I want to get a 65 to put in my boat compartment, but I need to remove and reinstall the lid to get it through the compartment opening.
I have not messed around with the hinge pins
Hell yaaa
Great vid... but that's why i like orca coolers.... lifetime warranty and if the handles break they send out new ones for FREE...😁
Yeti sent me free latches, they just showed up today.
I thought yeti gave alifetime warranty
I believe it's limited, but either way if you need to replace it
