The work involved when volunteering with giant pandas is similar in each program.
đŒđšThe panda rescue and quarantine focuses on pandas rescued from the wild who are sick or injured so they can receive medical care and rehabilitation. The Dujiangyan panda base also places a major focus on senior and disabled pandas.

There are 2 options:
Option A- Volunteer to be a panda zookeeper for a day (roughly 150usd/pax) which includes
đŒ feeding panda
đŒ make panda food and clean enclosure
đŒ Tour around the village
đŒ round trip transportation
đŒ lunch provided
Option B- Take a picture with panda
Which is roughly around 285usd/ pax
đŒ only 20 seconds for a picture
Hence, we ended up choosing option A. Much more memorable and once in a lifetime experience

Hi Aakash, all you need is to pay the program fee for Giant Pandas Keeper Program if you want to do volunteering. All the fees will be directly given to support the research base centre. So you are totally doing a charity work đŻ
