The concept of the foundations doubling as a breakwater is brilliant. ❤
Speaking of tea, I have my own version of the traditional drinking game; every time Mr. Thomas says "wee", I take a shot of tea. (Or loots a desk fan. Or finds a clean black suit.) Keeps me hydrated. :)
Greetings and salutations all! I haven't built up my Nordhagen Beach settlement yet, so this episode is both a building treat and an inspiration. I would never have thought of using a primarily metal build, but it looks completely believable. Well thought out and very clever in both concept and detail. Kudos to Mr. Thomas; and congratulations on your first complete build. Well done!
If you drop rifles, go into workshop mode, then highlight them one at a time and select "store in workbench", then exit building mode and immediately remove them from your building workbench, you can do this an infinite number of times to reduce your build limit, without losing your rifles. I store my "build rifles" in a wee crate next to my build workbench. :)
To get rid of wires that you don't want, highlight the wire in workshop mode and hit the scrap button.
Thanks......I have asked for this answer since vault 88.
God I love Idiot Savant.
Also your videos have been brilliant to watch since starting a new playthrough.
You've helped me so much!!!
If you would rather not take up space by using power pylons, the small conduits can be placed on surfaces, either vertically (either upwards or downwards) or horizontally. Wires can be strung from building to building this way also. :)
You may store a previously placed wire in your workshop, and save it for a later placement. :)
A Happy Birthday, congrats, and many happy returns of the day!
Enjoy the building my favorite aspect
Wow a room for each settler you really pamper them...
That was an awesome settlement build.
hows it going lad. I live near by and seen the snap that you've reached 88.888k! well done and btw keep that fallout on ya! (edited)
Nice calm video to fall asleep to…hopefully 😂
Excellent work!!
You should do a "camera drone float around" type short video of the settlement with all your building work completed when you can, daytime and night-time. :-)
Won't be able to watch the stream today because it's my birthday😔
Happy Birthday man! :)

Happy birthday dude
You should do whatever you want on your birthday!!!
I hope we get some more settlement building in the future
We sure will! :)
If this settlement has rentals, where do I sign up?! My PC would love to live here, at least during the warmer seasons. Many thanks for sharing your building experience, Mr. Thomas! P.S. Longer episodes=entertainment x 2!
The front entrance was in the way for connecting the wire to the other side of the house, with the small connectors
Utter class. Think I will do a bit of settlement upgrading
Finally caught up with the episodes!
Awesome! :)
I don't have access to building mods, so spend alot of time in primal scream therapy...😮
They should have a Hydra mod to fall out
Is that like hail hydra, hydra? Or is this something else??
@@workingstiff0586 hail Hydra kinda thing like they should add a red skull thing
@@Armum-Zola ok, I am definitely agreeing with you
Oh hell yeah, be nice if its a joinable faction as well@@Armum-Zola
Hi Thomas love your videos do you use mods for these settlement as im new to fallout 4 ive got wasteland workshop dlc but it seems to be missing certain items ? cheers Aaron
All vanilla! Just some Content Creation Club things and all the DLC's :)
I just woke up and heard you say something about scrapping wires. You can scrap them but if you look at the wire and press B it’ll say it stores it in the workshop but it doesn’t it just gets rid of it
Can’t scrap them my bad*
The warehouse tab has its own set of stairs that may work better.
also- highlight wire and scrap button gets rid of the wire.
Unless I missed them, this place needs more food to have the excess needed to attract more settlers.
Your mannequins in the armor shop could have uplighters?
cozy
Easy way to remove wire - hit tab and then e to 'store' it. No magical mats added since its free but it goes away.
I dont believe the priginal Sanctuary lightposts are designed to radiate power.
Hmmm I dont think its brilliant. More well lit. *Rimshot*
Buildings collide with things like wires - it was blocking you earlier.
Only min max food is Mutfruit. Or for line of sight carrots.
The beds belong to the kid and 2 folks living there. Unless you mod the ability you cant move them.
Small mod, vital for building, Place Anywhere/Everywhere (depending on Nexus mods or bethsidea shop). With it you can place anything anywhere (can turn on and off) and make minor movmentas to blend things together.
You get the most OP settlement power and water items from Vault 88. You can skip the quests by shooting the overseer when you meet her.
Almost finishing Nuka (you have to capture some Cw settlements) gets you unique looking skins for the shops.
Not to mention Nuka Nukes.
Exp farm for Settlements. Build wooden posts and metal shelves. Scrap em, make more. Esp with idiot savant you make a ton of fast exp.
I had a ton of fun watching you build. I wish I could share one of my SS2 cities with you.
