We have to keep in mind that this is a new offense for everyone. The plays might be similar but it’s new players new offense. That’s what these times are for to learn and have cohesion getting used to each other. Stephen Carlson even caught a pass! I think the timing and speeding up his drop back so he’s not holding the ball so long is gonna be key. U can tell he took Tom Brady’s advice to heart. He’s going about his business on/off the field the same exact way
The most important part of our OL is to have continuity for CW18. Definitely want continuity, but consistency in the snaps and communication there is crucial.
NO QUESTION WITH THE UPGRADE AT THE QB POSITION THE WHOLE OLINE WILL APPEAR BETTER WHEN THEY REESTABLISH THAT CONTINUITY. FACTS ARE THE LAST QB WE HAD DIDN'T MAKE THEM BETTER... THE LAST QB WE HAD DIDN'T MAKE ANYONE AROUND HIM BETTER...
@@1Stoltzy not really. They were objectively bad last year. Hence why half the OLine was replaced. Jenkins has started every year of his career on IR and has yet to prove he can even play a full year at a high level and Wright was a rookie who made a severe amount of typical rookie mistakes missing several blocking assignments across all the lineman that cost the Bears a number of games last year. Davis isn't even practicing
I think people miss the fact that victories, no matter how small, lead to greater excitement and drive to repeat it. Give everyone the hardest problem to solve and beating it even in shorts gives them a feeling of accomplishment. OTAs give them time to become cohesive as units and as a team. Sure, not always something the vets need, but they gain respect for the rookies as they progress. The young guys get to display their chops to the their vet teammates. These are intangibles in teambuilding. That's the real value of OTAs and minicamp.
Poles needs to learn how to evaluate talent and draft the top talent available at every spot. Building through the draft creates cohesiveness and is the most cost effective method
You guys kept saying bates was going to be the center when he never started in his nfl career and Shelton was a starter at C for two years. It was so obvious. Also Poles only gave up a 6 for bates. Hardly starter guarantee value
C'mon Man, hes throwing passes with NO pass rush/pressure. It SHOULD look pretty. Can you do it with 2, 280lb edge rushers closing in on his ass!! Hes had special trainers since he was 7-8 yrs old, AND arguably one of the top QB coaches (Hewlitt) in the country since Jr. High! I fuckin HOPE he can throw the ball! Listen to Hoge, and Caleb is, hands down, the NFL MVP Superbowl QB!! Hasn't taken ONE live snap!! 😂😂 AND the kid is throwing to some of the BEST WRs, TEs, and a SEASONED pass catching RB, in the league! Talk about how he HOLDS THE BALL to FUCKIN LONG!! HOGE!!
Love what you guys provide us with. Thank you for what you do and for giving me an example to follow one day!

THOSE PLAYS ARE PLAUSIBLE.. THE ELEMENT OF SURPRISE IS KING. WHEN THEY LEAST EXPECT IT..... EXPECT IT.
you mean you finally came up with an good excuse, after 14 days of pondering. good stuff.

Solid rotational
i agree. shelton played center for stafford, mccay, won a superbowl. not sure where the bates hype is coming from

@@Davo2timesprobably Courtney Cronin because she has been saying the whole offseason that Bates is the starter.. Smh!

gotta remember, the bears offensive coaching has always been suspect. The head coach is not someone would be willing to spend to get.
Yup, put Bates at RG, and put Davis with Claypool, out of the building!! Dudes NOT worth 2 mill. Let alone 10!! 😊
Trade for another Pass rusher.
They have a first next year and two 2nds to address that. Why take on another big contract with a rookie qb??
@@xNuberWell said. This team is NOT a Super Bowl team. Not even close. Work with what you’ve got. Next year’s draft class at DLine is LOADED.
Yeah I don’t think they need to trade anything at the moment.
Sign a vet on a 1 year and leave it at that if anything.
I agree it's tempting to make another move.... But a first round we're going to a DE seems like the best decision for the future of the team
Draft one in the first round. Next year is deep on D line.
Its called steroids for Robinson.
Caleb the god of boring.
