Dude you gotta tell your thoughts on the two !! I'm in between the 9th Gen Si and 10th gen Si
The things I like about the 9th gen Si
      1. The windows are really big and it's easy to see out of really good visibility out of the car
      2. The physical handbrake I like the feel of pulling the parking brake up
      3. The double dashboard tachometer setup is really cool
      4. Naturally Aspirated k24z7= more responsive being NA and torque
      5. The ability to boost a k series
And for the things I like about the 10th gen Si
      1. The appearance of the car I really like the front end is more aggressive I like the rear tail lights they're really big and have a cool design (sedan)
      2. The interior is better looking and better quality better seats better technology and more comfortable
      3. MPG being a 1.5 turbo it gets better fuel economy much better for daily driving save money and drive more
      4. The power more torque down low and with bolt ons and a tune the car is more quicker than any previous gens with bolt ons
      -
I'm pretty much looking for a daily driver setup not so much for the performance side
The 10th gen checks out a bunch of my needs for a fun comfortable quick daily driver but I don't like the electronic parking brake and the boost lag from the turbo

Used to own a 99 SI EM1 and it was a killer experience. Like you said the smiles never dropped from my face. Cool thing about it was all it took was a tune and I could daily drive, slap the other tune and It was chugging on race fuel down a strip. It was truly a lot of fun. This Civic had a B16JDM/B18 Frankenstein build hooked with a short shifter, plenty of exhaust and ignition parts, fuel injectors and a hot tune and barely broke bank.
Jump about 10 years and I have a 9th Generation Civic SI Sedan and this thing is everything I could ask for in a more modern adult vehicle. Enough room to go shopping or on a roadtrip but small enough that with the added suspension and horsepower that honda slapped inside, handles those weekend roads like a dream. This ride came with a K24.Z7 at 201hp stock, still killing it with the high 8-9k rpm and a whole lotta I-Vtec fun.
I feel, in my experienced opinion, that the 9th Generation is the 6th Generation but more matured with the modern design and engine build. They both have a curb appeal while keeping to its more sporty dynamic.
Really enjoyed the video and Ill definitly be taking a look at that gallery of yours, maybe add mine someday.

I've had a few SIs in my day. Starting with a 90 CRX SI. Then a 6th gen bubble hatch. I went from an 8th Generation to 10th Generation 2019.
Yes it was a little bit of a adjustment going from a high revving Vtech to a turbo charged but after about a year with the 1.5 turbo and a few aftermarket parts and a good tune, the current generation is now my favorite for driving experience. Granted I'm now pushing 40 and have kids to haul around, but my 3 year old daughter loves it when I do a quick pull to 60 or 70 from a stop light and the smile on her face might have something to do with it.

I traded my 93 ej that was an SI minus the brakes and a few other nice tricks. But when I traded it for a 6th gen 99 electron blue broo those NFSU2 days just rushed back into my head. I almost cried when I played "celebration song" by Unwritten Law. The 8.2k redline and the SI transmission is pure automotive nirvana when it comes to just a pure driving sensation. I currently blew the head and a valve is done for but not the block thank the car gods. 6th Civic SI is your childhood boy racer car apart from the 240sx and honestly, I'm probably never selling this car so when this vid came out, it hits right at home.
