If you're interested in the fluid extractor we used, it's the "Mityvac 7201 Manual Fluid Evacuator Plus with 2.3 Gallon Reservoir". They're like $100 on Amazon. ..Got more Ryker videos dropping soon! ..Best time to subscribe.. ✌😁 #yeahdawg

    ..Most of it is actually fake. We use AfterEffects to make it seem like Ryan has his own Ryker, use green screen safety gear to have them removed in post, and I've been wearing a fake mustache since the first video. Technology is wild right now 🤯. Stay cool everyone!

    From my days of building custom Harley's here's the issue I have seen with these vacuum fluid evacuators is that even they are pretty cool and they do get the majority of the oil out. It will not get all the metal particles that are on the very bottom which when you drain it the normal way pulls the majority of the particles as it's draining out of the bottom of the sump. Remember metal particles are what cause wear on the engine. Now the argument I hear all the time is that there is always going to be a small amount of metal particles even if you drain it the right way and the answer is yes, but a lot less than if you use an evacuator. Of course, if you are changing out your vehicles every 3 to 5 years then it would not be an issue but if you keep your vehicles around as long as I do then taking the time to do the oil change the proper way with oil changes every 5000 miles. Remember oil is cheap compared to a new engine. Great job either way guys... 👍🏼

      @ExcelsiorDDZ Před 3 lety +2

      I agree, especially on that FIRST oil change in order to collect the microscopic shavings. I believe that @Thrillmousemoto was on his second oil change even though he mentions it was his first.

      @@ExcelsiorDDZ Actually, from his videos, I think this is his first oil change even I did not change my oil as the dealer said it needed an oil change after the break-in period which there is no indication in the owner's manual for this. The only scheduled oil change is at 6K.
