How to Make and Cook on an All Natural Rocket Stove with no drill and cook meat cabobs inside a primitive log oven Bushcraft campfire Fire Cooking. Making a Rocket Stove out of a single log typically requires a drill but not many of us carry a drill into the bush in this video We show how to make an all natural version with no drill required. We make out out of a cedar log and also a black ash hardwood log. We melt snow and make hot chocolate and also cook meat kabobs on a wood branch skewer inside the log. The kabob Idea I first saw on the channel Os Bushcraft and Survival

Thanks Linda !!
@@TheRealTedBaird thank you so much for getting back to us. FYI we are also a big FAN of you and Heather. We watch every video you put out. Thank you for all your hard work on making them. Much appreciate, peace and love the Wiggins.
Shelter? Hahahaha.
In Sweden it is normal to use logs like this since hundrets of centuries.
Americans thing they got the wheel everytime there lightbulb make a bling.
Bushcraft Hall of Fame - that should go viral!
Thanks Rich!
When you were showing the inside of the log burning I thought what if you could somehow use that as an oven and cook something inside of it and then you... you never disappoint ted, ever
Thanks. I suppose its a rocket stove and an oven
Was waiting for that classic Baird "Yeeehaaaa!" when that rocket fired off. Keep up the good work!
Yeahhh! Thanks 🍻
What a wonderful find. I am so grateful that I have a chance to experience your talents. Thank you. Pete J

Revisiting your 10 Day canoe trip series again... it’s so lovely to be going along with you down the lakes and rivers, enjoying the camp fires and of course be taken out of our winter for the perfect (seemingly bug free?) summer trip! Thank you guys so much!!
Nice Donna Enjoy. It was very bug free! Just awesome
Aww....how cute Bella was helping with the fire wood. ♥️♥️♥️. Doggies are the best.
Yes they are 🐕
I'm so in love with Bella . So blessed you guys to have her and vice-versa.
Yes 😁🐕😁
Bushcraft cooking at it's coolest. Very nice, Ted and Heather - you hit it out of the park again, as usual. Good filming and editing, informative, fun, educational and entertaining from beginning to end. Grinning ear to ear every time Bella carries wood - she's gotta be the best portage clearing, firewood carrying dog anywhere! 🐶🌲 🥩🥇♥
Awesome review thanks a lot!

I am so glad to see the 3 of you. Seems a long time. Love all I'm learning from you. But being 80 that's like wasted information. Dont think I can ever get to the woods to try it. Pets and hugs to you all. Bella I lost my fur baby 2 weeks ago. But will love her always. Brain tumor.
Oh no im very sorry to hear that Barbara loosing a fur baby is very hard. Sending hugs from us all 🐕👫 I gave Bella a hug for you. All 3 of us will be in the next 2 videos together

The ring of fire
Cool. I made such a Finnish candle more than once, but here nature made the design itself.
Now I will be in the forest to look at similar remains of trees.
Thank you.
Everything is simple when you know how.
Awesome vid!! I LOVE that the pupper was trying to help!!!!

Vertical shishkabob. Very cool.

Super idea of using a dead tree. Great idea for cooking Tandoori style.
The centre of the wood is called Heartwood 👌

Thanks Derek! Appreciate it
The dog is having such a good time
I am impressed with the log torch of good ideas ♪
Excellent technique cooking the meat.
i love how in the beginning she’s calmly explaining why she’s changing saws, and the dog is in the back obliterating a tree 😂😆
Nicely done Ted! While I was expecting the 'classic' rocket stove you came up with an even better version.
Always learning something...
Thanks!! Appreciate it
Ted and Heather....that was totally awesome! We’ll have to give a rocket stove a try. We so enjoy your CZcamss....and Bella is so sweet and entertaining....one lucky dog!

You should do a video explaining all about tree's and how to identify them for certain things needed for bushcrafting. 😊😊😊

Thanks Jacob
This was super interesting and novel. Not too easy these days! I love you guys.
Thanks Michael appreciate it
Great new information!
Thanks
Cool way to cook kabobs . Came across a very large pecan that had fell on a road in a neighboring town . They had limbed it to clear the street . Some of the limbs were hollow . I grabbed and stacked them at the house . Going to be fun this fall with my son. Thanks for sharing your trip
While camping at the lake I found a large hollow tree trunk about 8 feet long. I cut it into two lengths about 4 feet each. The base section was large enough to stand on top of the campfire ring. It burned for over 4 hours with a tall flame on top before it burned through the sides. The next night I burned the top section.
I tried the drilling method and it didn’t work out that well. This seems like a way better idea! Thank you!!!
Glad it helped!
Nunca vi uma tocha sueca tão natural e tão eficiente. Meus parabéns 👍🏻🇧🇷✌🏻❤️
This is good innovative stuff! What a great idea.
