The XV-5080 is brimming with nearly every instrument sound imaginable; one of the reasons musicians often used the original in place of slower and less convenient samplers. Guitar, drums, synth leads, koto-you name it. Throw in a smorgasbord of onboard effects, plus the flexible parameters of a virtual platform, and the sky’s the limit.

Lo instalé en fl studio al roland xv5080 vst y se borraron todos los bancos y patches del roland xv5080, solo me quedó el banco de la percusión. He probado desinstalando y volviendo a instalar y todo sigue igual. Cómo puedo solucionar esto? Te agradecería que me ayudes

sounds poor, not dynamic, not fresh or inspiring. Roland should first learn how to make good plugins! KORG´s Triton plugin is a thousand times better and even AIR´s old XPAND! is way better. Besides, a lot of Roland´s Cloud plugins are too heavy on cpu. I still have JV2080, but do not use it any more (too much hum noise), but still better than this plugin.

100% agree - especialy for dance productions no chance. Also if u compare them with Kontakt Libraries...Rolands sounds failed...also the SRX Boards...

Wierd, I've checked Korg Triton VST today and the sound is quite lo-fi I would say. It's not focused, sounds woolly, some drums are especially terrible sounding, with strangely scooped mids. I checked the plugin, because I had chance to buy classic Triton cheap. But after hearing Triton VST I decided to not buy it. On the other hand this XV 5080 seems to sound much more "hifi" and clean, I like it more.

Also, after checking all the patches that were on original Triton (banks A-D) in the VST plugin, it's very obvious that the original had limited ROM - everything sounds like iteration of ca. 50 presets , eg. all brass patches sounds similar, 50% of piano patches sound like M1 and so on and so on.

Download it and try it, it sounds waaaaay better coming through your daw than on a youtube video.

@@testowykana1763 Interesting. I got that Korg X2 (for cheap). There all sounds sound the same as well, maybe even more so. But using it to play the Korg VST's, like M1 or Triton it is quite useful. They do have more individuality than the onbords.

      Always. If modules/hardware at a 10, VSTIs are ALWAYS a 7.
I have the hardware and briefly used the cloud and didn't like so I came back to check to make sure. Yeah, sounds are too thin.
