@@JMan77 Yeah.. I disagree with some of it.. like the Jedi are protagonists, but they aren't really morally good. They are a stoic, emotional repressive and isolating cult. They separate children from their families to indoctrinate them.
Good guys would have saved Anakins mother from slavery.
This is the high republic era, and there is peace in the galaxy, because Jedi are policing it.. but that doesn't mean there can't still be levels of poverty or crime.
I really liked the fighting styles, how May (Mae?) used the force to call her daggers back.. I like the concept that she has to kill 4 Jedi and has to kill one of them barehanded to please her master... I liked the meditating Jedi with the impenetrable force shield... These are all really cool concepts.
I understand the showrunner chick is a cringe weirdo, but I think it's hard to say this show is anything short of "really good".
