During christmas season opening of malls are moved back an hour and it closes an hour later too. Malls would be open from 11:am to 11:pm. This is to help lessen traffic because during the holidays people from the provinces usually flock to the city to shop and see the christmas activities, so at least shoppers will not be on the road same time as those rushing to work. On Dec 16 onwards until Dec 23 malls will be open until midnight to give more time for people to buy there Christmas gifts.

Here in Alberta grocery stores or supermarkets open 24/7 close to the holidays. Also online shopping is 24/7 anyways 😅😅

George, we have this during holliday season like this, we call it "AGUINALDO" meaning a gift.. during 16 Dec. we do have this we call it "SIMBANG GABI" it is a midnight mass, it has also early morning schedule... and that mass will last for 9 days... that is the Filipino Christmas...

Most mall restaurants are open for breakfast early ahead of the regular mall stores. You just have to talk to the Security Guards which restaurants are open for breakfast or coffee.
