Hello recreational sports enthusiasts, here is a compact report about the fantastic Austrian ski area DIE TAUPLTZ in beautiful and snow-sure Upper Styria. The video contains a lot of information about the 17 lifts and 43 kilometers of slopes, which extend to the following three mountains: SCHNEIDERKOGEL (1765 m), LAWINENSTEIN (1965 m) and MITTERSTEIN (1912 m). The Tauplitzalm can be reached from Bad Mitterndorf via the Alpenstrasse to the various marked parking spaces or directly from the town of Tauplitz with the Tauplitz I and Tauplitz II mountain lifts.

My personal SUMMARY about the “DIE TAUPLITZ” ski area:
Due to the different levels of difficulty of the slopes, the ski area is very suitable for families with children as well as for advanced skiers and snowboarders. If you get bored after a while, you can, for a change, visit the LOSER www.loser.at or the RIESNERALM www.riesneralm.at, two other showable ski areas, each of which is from the Tauplitz about 30 minutes away by car. You can find a really large ski area in the surrounding area in SCHLADMING. The 4-mountain ski area there (Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen, Reiteralm) offers you 123 kilometers of slopes and 50 lifts.

Tauplitzalm sieht ganz schön flach aus. Ist das Snowboard tauglich dort?
