Here we offer a 12-minute long crash party video, where the 2023 contestants in the Crash of the Year, presented by Hassela Ski Resort Hedvig, are gathered.
The Crash of the Year 2023 competition collected 85 clips this winter. Expect broken skis, half backflips, scorpions, collisions and tombolas in all imaginable guises.

The greatest wipeout I've ever had was when I was night skiing with my friends and there was some slushy snow at one particular spot. When I went over it my skis stopped but I kept going and honestly it was awesome, I flew through the air and hit the ground probably ten feet from where both my skis were
Lol, did that once as well when going a bit off-piste. Easy cruising until there was a sudden 1 feet high wall of ice under the snow. Exactly enough to stop my ski's dead in its track, perfectly placed next to each other, and absolutely fucking send me. Never even had a chance to anticipate it lmao.

As a skier snow doesn’t always hurt as much as it looks unless you fall weird but when you roll it’s not that bad ish unless ur on ice 😂 I fell once and did 3 back rolls
but you end up with that shit everywhere inside your jacket and helmet and everythings cold and wet

There is always that guy that does not move to the side and is in a blind spot
Watching this because I slammed into a metal pole yesterday going around 25-30 mph. Can’t walk now, went to go get Xrays and luckily the bones are all good so just gotta wait it out!😂

I once slid down a black diamond on my back going headfirst at about 30mph, dad came and saved me, now he’s got a ruptured acl, a miniscus tear, and two blood clots, one in his knee, and one shot up into his lungs
the biggest crash i had was jumping over a slope (to the right of the slope and the the left of the slope it went down so you could use that as a jump)
i was so scared of not having enough speed that i had way too much speed and landed flat. on my feet. in powder. one of my poles was bent but i just bent it back and still ski with them lmao

It's all good in the Rockies. East coast USA, not so much. Shorter season by far. And the Alps are alive and well, as are many other locations around the globe.
@@ByLagarto That's a good report. A lot of people must be buying Priuses if it's starting to snow again. We drive one Prius about 16 hours each day and we have two more up on blocks with bricks on the accelerator pedals. Everyone knows that driving a Prius will save the planet.
