That man saving that baby dolphin was awesome, especially when he kissed it. Touched my heartstrings completely.
He didn't really save it. He removed it from his net because it has no commercial value (though probably tasty). He is a fisherman and there is no tinned dolphin on the shelves in the supermarket.
As an ex commercial fisho, I can assure you its as basic as that. Cheers.

Besides, even if it was as "basic as that" and he was just doing it because it wasn't worth anything (which doesn't seem to be the case, given how we acted), he still saved the dolphin. Both intent _and_ outcome factor into the ethical judgment of an act.

If the car is in gear (even idling), you will not succeed. Luckily for this dude, it was in neutral (though he still should have used his parking brake).
Whenever I see people slipping on icy steps, I'm glad I live in sub-tropical Australia. The only ice around here is in the freezer.
People who live in icy places who aren't goobers wear boots with little metal thingies in them--they work like a hot damn. I'll take the ice over the spiders. :)

Their little daughter objects to the procedure, mom turns to slap her and lets go of the balloon. I'm surprised they published the video since it shows mom in the worst possible light - she could have laughed and made it a memorable joke, but instead she got furious and took it out on her child. So who's the real child here? Whatever the sex of the new baby is, it's in for a very hard time.
