@@danielpfaff1802 i would still argue the made WAAAAY better strides with Batman as a character. He has an entire FAMILY of characters connected to him, one being his biological SON and has made several PERMANENT improvements to his gear over the years

Deadpool also got infected with a zombie virus in one comic, and his healing factor would keep it in check. But every now and then, he'd black out and became a zombie till his healing factor held the virus back, and he snapped out of it.

Marvel Universe Vs Wolverine is hands-down one of the best forgotten mini-series Marvel have ever published. Brilliant art, uncompromising story and action, and incredibly dark noiresque art by the amazing Laurence Campbell. It's balls-to-the-wall stuff. Highly recommended - if you've not picked it up, do yourself a favour. Beats anything the MCU have put out in years!

Its okay to be biased if you want to prefer certain characters as a favorite. But there's nothing out there showcasing Deadpool to being Better than Black Panther. If you've been reading prior comics, T'Challa's character development has been in the works for years prior, especially since Black Panther has been around longer than Deadpool and they only have so many interactions with one another. Meanwhile Deadpool literally has some of the most random writing in Marvel, which actually hurts Deadpools character development more than it helps him. So there's nothing making Deadpool better than Black Panther other than simply liking him. I like Black Panther as one of my favorite characters and I like Deadpool as well. They both have their place in Marvel comics in their own way. Besides that, your comment is extremely random since no one here said anything about the Character of Black Panther or Deadpool for that matter. It's almost as if you're looking to bait people with the comment.

Just wanted to point out, in this story logan mentions that Frank.....i mean the punisher is worse than him, he says and I quote, " But if I'm a beast, then what does that make him?"
Punisher would probably say something like, "someone with a job to do"
I always wish they would've included Sabertooth with him in this comic. He's in touch with his wild side like Logan but more so. Them two working together would've been nice although it would've sidelined Logan in a way since it's been established that Victor is far more wild than him and often sons his ass.

Sabretooth is actually in this comic but unfortunately is only in the background as a part of Hulk's army.

I thought Nightcrawler was Wolverine's best friend in the X-Men, not Colossus. In any case, it is true that Colossus and Wolverine are still good friends.
From what i reemember reading, and i've read everything drom the first one up until the end of the 90's, Colossus was his best friend. But Nightcrawler was also his buddy. Colossus because he wasnt afraid of him and was cool. Nightcrawler because he was the marg8nalized mutant and u derstood him. Also he always was preaching to Wolverine and was taking care of his spiritual life. And important trope, since its what was preventing him to go feral. That and his love for Phoenix...and that asian women.
They always change who his best friend is to promote less popular heros, like all of them, they could get rid of the entire marvel universe and just keep wolverine and it would probably be more successful 😂

Deadpool like that of Wolverine can recover for most beatings. He is suppose to have a piece of several or more mutant DNA. Wolverine and Deadpool should always be around.

Just imagine if they'd actually kept Cap alive and Deadpool never switched sides. And we got an apocalypse story with Wolverine, Captain America, Deadpool and the Punisher together. Goddammit that would've been awesome.
Deadpool was technically the enemy with his condition but he did have a grasp of somewhat controlling the plague so when Hulk killed him the more controversial deadpool thing mattered which was his healing factor overloading because its kinda weird but his ability to heal is really more connected with his emotion and awareness as a comic character. Its weird how anyone could save the Earth in marvel except for Deadpool
Considering how easy it should be for a lot of characters to kill Wolverine, this should be interesting.
The fact that hulk chopped off wolverine's arm shows that adamantium isn't indestructible(just very durable).
Been following wolverine for 30+ years.... still will always be my favorite!
Two things I wish this series had, First is a fight with Sabretooth, Next is Winter Soldier... I truly believe Frank Castle, Wolverine and the Winter Soldier... I know Capn America succumbs to the disease.... The Punisher killing him was overwhelming fer me.... but I think if Winter Soldier was the one to do it... would have been some irony!!!!

To answer some people's question of why is hero a infected while wolverine isn't and the answer(which isn't really a good one) is stated by Deadpool himself "its a wolverine story" so literal plot was on his side.

Think its because he is the one of the least likely Marvel Heroes to do a bad act, he is the idealist. So by turning him, or turning him first it shows that whatever it is that made him evil could do it to anyone.

The virus/gene therapy/whatever in this series reminds me a lot of the fungal infection in The Crossed comic book series. It basically makes you give into your base impulses without thought, which usually makes you a cannibal, murder, and worse.
So surprised that Deadpool started to become one of them and yet Wolvie kept the virus at bay.

I am a subscriber, I enjoy your content, but this title is wrong as it could be said for every character in marvel as it is a multi or infinite verse where there are infinite possibilities and versions of those same characters.

Silly question: If Deadpool and Logan have super healing, and Deadpool's is stronger, why'd Deadpool become infected and not Logan?

The virus does effect healing factors. It's why spiderman and hulk can talk and in the main line comic of this story, they are clan leaders and are smarter than the normal infected.
Deadpool is himself but isn't at the same time. He eats raw meat and knows it
Logan is also infected and at the end, we see him looking like a caveman, as the virus converted his body but not his mind.
Maybe logan is already infected, but the thing is he is already an animal and knows how to control inner animal whereas deadpool don't.
because of crap writing. a gunshot is more powerful than a bite, so why would anyone that can reflect bullets, like the hulk, get bitten?

With my limited comic book knowledge, wasn't Logan's skeleton coated with adamantium as an experiment? Which would mean that Wolverine can't naturally produce it, so yes the regrown bone will not have any adamantium.

In the original secret wars Spider-Man flicks wolverine away with a finger. They were better at power differences back then and balanced it vs rule of cool. Now wolverine can defeat anyone because he's cool he barely has any 'super strength' at all.
