Economist Gita Gopinath is an expert in the field economics. I admire Gita's statistical knowledge in reference to how other countries are affected by the global Covid recession. I worked in the Economics Dept. at UC Berkeley in the 90's.

The farm bills are good, if only the bills clearly mention the MSP. Farmers will not be exploited in any year if the govt ensures a certain price to them. I oppose the farm bills for only that single reason. But leaders of the rulling party and the media has projected every protester as Khalistani. It is very natural, they won't compromise now. BTW, Gita Gopinath openly criticized demonetization that blind followers of the govt defend until now.
