  • The war in Ukraine comes at a time when some countries are moving past the acute phase of the pandemic and the global economy is just recovering-although COVID-19 deaths remain high, and cases are growing again in many regions. As central banks fight persistent and widespread inflation, rising debt vulnerabilities, multilateral efforts to respond to the humanitarian crisis and end the pandemic remain essential. Join this debate on the global economic outlook.

What your are seeing here is a bunch of criminals tyring to hide behind facade of reverance. I suposse we should respect these people. Why? Because they assume some high positions of power? How about responsibillity? How about respect from their end? Do they respect us?
How about yourselves? Do you respect Al Capone? Do you respect bank robbers, car jackers, drug dealers, hijackers, killers, thiefs... This "wild bunch" is far worse than any of them and much more destructive. Strip them from their throne and say loud what they truly are - CRIMINALS.

15% real inflation and 50 basis points rise in rates , I must be missing something . ECB negative rates still conducting QE . Best prepare for much higher inflation.

This is how many markets dropped with one meeting.

These must be highly staged events, I mean at a time when the markets are the most over leveraged in their entire history, when the LME is being shut-down for the first time ever due to a nickel squeeze, when 4-major developers are defaulting in China (Evergrande likely one of the most indebted corps in the world), when Russia has entered into a selective-default (2 other countries defaulting) and the NSCC introducing regulations (3rd time of this nature) trying to create another stock lending program specifically mentioning defaulting members and “fire sale” liquidations… I would’ve had some different questions, at least more interesting. What about the Central Bank Digital Coin development (crypto)?
This felt like an underhand soft ball game being played in the eye of a storm.

The People At the TOP, printed all this money knowing exactly what they are doing, and gave themselves massive interest free loans, and knew the inflation was going to wreck the world, but by then, they have already bought into land, real estate, food corporations, and various other businesses to secure themselves against what's coming. The People you are hearing admit they screwed up, are just hired mouth pieces and not the actual decision makers. Its going to get crazy in the next few years if we are going to enter into hyperinflation

Nothing but lip service from these people. Also, the host is very rude. She calls Powell "this guy" in a live presentation with other heads of financial institutions. Someone should remind her that she's the least important person in that room.
