  • Rabbi Yaron Reuven teaches about the spiritual ramifications of wasting seed. He explains that it lowers a person's spiritual standing and can negatively affect his destiny, including his potential wife. He compares wasting seed to a person destroying the world by pressing a red button, highlighting the immense damage it causes in the spiritual realm.
Rabbi Reuven emphasizes that this sin is punishable by death and causes various physical ailments, including premature aging and health problems. He also explains that wasting seed can negatively impact a person's prayers and prevent them from being answered.

Hello Rabbi, in my personal opinion, the guys have no excuse of not getting married. There are tons of Jewish girls, pretty, educated, what else do they need? I had a dating experience where I went all the way to Manhattan on a date and made sure I’m extra tznius and the guy asked me after a date if I want to see his apartment? I was so shocked, I couldn’t believe my ears. I understand if he wasn’t wearing a kippah and I came in in mini skirt. I was so upset I took train home and cried that night. I never experienced such humiliation in my life. Maybe men need to get dating classes? Many guys I dated are literally “interrogating” you to the point where you can’ eat a cake or salad I ordered? Or a guy made me walk on heels to the restaurant for 30 min bc he don’t want to take Uber? I gave all them a chance and was very nice about it, but to be honest, I cried after every single date.

So sorry you have experienced this Esther. I've married three men and after the chuppah, terrible middos were the norm. Some are nice on the date and show their real self after the chuppah. I've cried buckets of tears for years. Baruch Hashem I still have Torah.

I’ve had them ask me to send inappropriate photos or full on physical engagement and then when I tell them they’re wrong they tell me “HaShem isn’t fire and brimstone”. Yikes.
May all single people find their other half and may they treat their wives like the queens they are so they may be like kings. BzH

The issue for schidduch crisis is a lot of baalt teshuva girls are not virgins and high value men who learn the kabbalah and Torah come to realize how important that actually is and have the ability to find a virgin so why settle for less? It sounds cruel but throughout history women survive more and reproduce at a higher rate. Men in the secular world are largelly ignored as only the top % of men get women. Another reason for the crisis is that some girls are too picky looking for a superman type and not having realistic expectations. A way to end the crisis is to ensure daughters are not raised to be promiscious and giving into premarital intimacy. Also what the Rav has said before is you can lower your level based off actions in this life. Statistically also most people do not meet their soul mate and what we get in this world is deserved.

I have known this from before I was 20. Not from a book but from within. And it is next to impossible not to give in. A few times during my life I managed to not waste for a few weeks at best. During those few weeks there were times I could hear other people's thoughts. I could control the weather. I could do and experience many incredible things. It never got easier though and indeed got more difficult as time went on and I always gave in. After about a three week run I gave in and had relations. She became terrified during the act because I became so hot that she asked me to stop because I was burning her. I felt the intense heat but it was not burning me. Now I'm almost 62. It should be easier and I do give in less often. But I still give in. However, the difference is now when I go for a few weeks or even a month or more nothing happens. I'm not psychic. I can't read minds. I can't control the weather. There are hints that my power still grows but is it real or imagined, idk.
So my question is, have I done irreparable damage to myself? Can I still master this and will it do me much good if I do. What can I do about the condition I'm in? Thanks!
