Thanks for the review! I just got my Baubax sweatshirt 2.0, and your review was quite helpful. FYI, the hand warmers are now velcro detachable. I had hoped to receive it before my long haul flight to India, but I got back 3 weeks ago. Ready for my next trip, though, and got one to give my son for his adventures.
Shay Taylor I’m glad they updated the glove/ hand warmers. That is my main gripe with the version I have. They did find and share my review. I should reach back out and see if they would like me to take look at the updates.

good review bud!!! im a big fan of big pockets too. i work outside and things that are waterproof arent breathable and i get soaked anyways from sweat lol.and if they are breathable theyre not 100% waterproof. usually after 2 hours of being in the rain the water starts to make its way in
+journey_with _jay unlike some of the tech hiking jackets. They are vented. But crazy expensive. Time to win the lottery!
Another thing: I noticed that it doesn't really hold up well in cooler weather. I really feel the cold seeping through the sleeves. But as a general travel jacket it really is convenient in the plane and airport. Wish it were lighter though.
It’s not an insulated jacket. It is made to help you carry your belonging sim the airport and be a layer in the cool airport/ plane.

oren88 I would love to review V2. I need to reach out to them and see if they would like to send me one. I paid full price for this jacket, and it is still working great and looking great. So I don’t need to buy a new jacket.
By the way thanks for the review, good video. We don't always agree on everything, these were just my observations.
I'm commenting on the latest Bomber Jacket only. The loops were removed for some reason, wish they were there. Don't make the gloves such a big deal. They velcro out in one second. They are useless. About the front pockets, who carries a bunch of crap there? There are so many other pockets to use. If it's that cold you need to put your hands in pockets or wear cloves, not the half gloves they give you. By the way the neck pillow rolls long ways and fits perfectly into the hood pocket, don't fold it in quarters. The neck pillow is great, very comfortable on long trips.
Dennis Clark to start, the gloves are not removable. They are sewn into the jacket. Which is why I said I would like to see them removable in a later version of he jacket. The front pockets should be a large enough to fit a hand. And I don’t even have a large hand, i wear a size M glove.
The neck pillow sucks. Plain and simple. I used it on my flight to and from London. It was uncomfortable, and made me wish I had brought my regular neck pillow. And no matter how you fold it or store it, it slides around in the hood and is uncomfortable to wear.
All in all I do really like the jacket. And I have been wearing it a lot as of late. Lots of rain here, and mild temperatures. It also worked really well as a travel jacket. And the pen was super handy to fill out customs forms on the plain. I would recommend this jacket.

This video went live September 8, 2017 and the unboxing May 26, 2017. So this jacket was from early 2017. Still have it in the gear closet of you are interested. It’s just been chilling for a few years now.
Wait, it comes with pen refills?! I got 2 from Kickstarter (it also had the foldable water bottle included). Unfortunately the 2nd jacket for my hubby came with the zipper pen missing. Also I agree with the placement of the neck pillow. It keeps on falling out when I try to store it in the original neck area! 😢
I did not get pen refills with mine. And the neck pillow picked does not work.
Good for 45-66 degree weather?
I would say that’s a fair temp range for this jacket. I have worn it with a North Face Thermoball vest when it was a little cooler, but not cold enough for a heavy jacket. And that was a good setup for me.

Love Allah they are currently only $47.50. But I paid about $125 when I got mine two years ago.

I had to look up TS Impact travel jacket. And you’re right.... the Baubax is certainly not that. And thank god for that... that TS jacket it hideous. I would never have purchased that thing.
