@@yogi_5150 I did read the instructions. There was nothing to state the pills extended even further out. I only hit the support once as I didn’t have it adjusted. After that I was fine. The second time I had the hammock bunched up under my body at first, which made me think I was on the suppers again. Aftet I fixed that it was golden.

@@willidevegt8831 the price is in Malaysian Ringot. Adjust to your currency hand they are very reasonably priced. They are not like Crumpler bags ( at least not the old Crumpler that made great bags. Not sure what the are like these days). They are more like the old BO Gear Sindrome.

@@jeffgrantMEDIA My currency is RM and what i ment is only the looks make me think of Crrumpler i dont know the quality of the bag Like i said before compared to bags like Maxpedition or Vanguard these bags arre over priced in my opinion and like i said before specially when youu do changes to the bag g/ add on the price very fast can go very high. for example the Northseeker i made a few changes to it to make it what comes standard with my Maxpedition falcon 2 which i payed for RM 750 but with the changes the Northseeker comes to RM 946,- which by it self is already RM 200,- more but beside the price difference the Maxpedition is still the better quality / stronger bag in other words the Northseeker is way over priced no offence just my observation and opinion

@@willidevegt8831 non offense taken. I don’t work for GR136, I just work with them. Patrick (the owner) is a great guy. I can say the bags are top quality, and the Northseeker is one of my favorite packs. For the price you are getting a custom hand made bag. And for you, build in your own country. I don’t currently own and Maxpedition, 5.11 and and other tactical based brands. But if a say the quality of GR136 had been better than the Rush 5.11 bags I’ve tested or messed with in the past. And certainly on par with Maxpedition. I think I had a Vangaurd camera bag in the distant past (before CZcams) and I did not like it.

@@jeffgrantMEDIA No doubt the bags are good that was not my point. Like i said before when you add on things to the bag for every simple little thing you have to pay and that is pay for example RRM 33 to add some zipper pulls those arre things come as standard with any tactical bags. And all those small little add on that you have to pay for and again those are mostly things that come as standard with other brands make the bag lose its value. As an FYI 5.11 can not compare to Maxpedition thats like comparing a proton to a Mercedes although not bad but by far not as good as. As for Vanguard camera bags i`m not sure if that is the same company that sells the tactical bags but it probably is. And yeah i agree if you look with tactical eyes to a Vanguard camera bag they are not the same but than again i think a photographer wants totally different things from his bag than some one who do survival training gin the jungle. One thing i like very much about the bag brand is that like you say is made in Malaysia i wish there are more Malaysian companies to make high quality EDC stuf

@@jeffgrantMEDIA Well... squats & lunges help to loosen up the selvage jeans... so you've got that goin 😆 On a serious note though, do some negative chin-ups to help increase actual chin-ups. Running really fast from a problem only to be thwarted by a wall or fence means you might as well have just sat down. All able-bodied men should be able to pull themselves up over obstacles.

I think overall I would say the Matador beast would be a little bit more comfortable, just because it does have a wire frame going around the bag so there is some support, where the Gregory only has support in the foam back panel of the bag. But honestly, you wouldn’t go wrong with either bag, they’re both really comfortable and incredibly versatile bags. I think if you were to wear in the office, the mat would also fit in a little bit better just because it has a plain front with Daisy chain and it does not have the front stretch pocket that the nano has.

It's about par for the course for a bag of this quality. It is USA made from premium materials, and quilting craftsmanship. Sure a bit of that TAD name goes into the price tag, but a solid Heritage/ waxed canvas bag will be in this price range.

@@ParkerBinion that’s a great question. And one I have been thinking about since first using the TBB bag. Both are very similar in shape and design. I guess it would come down to usage. If I were going sleeper camera bag or I loved in a city, I would lean more TBB for the X50/ 500d blend. That would be more weather proof to protect my gear or keep my stuff dry not having a car. Living where I love (suburbs) and having a car and scooter, I would lean towards the Northseeker as an edc. The wildcard option really lets you get wild with a Northseeker. Both are amazing bags though and I’m happy I have each to use for what ever situation I find myself in.

@@jeffgrantMEDIA I really like the pockets on the inner lid of the Brown Buffalo clamshell. I got my Northseeker fuzzy, so the bottom of my bucket is velcro like the BB. I wish the opening of the rear concealed pocket on the Northseeker was as big as the BB Conceal 21 so it could be used for laptops. All that said, I LOVE the Northseeker.

Indeed they do! I find personally that I don't use side access pockets as much for QA. I gravitate towards the top of the bag. So using the inside top "mesh" pocket worked really well for me. But a few hook/loop pockets are great add-on to this bag.

@@4riftwalker if you are looking for a tote style backpack, there is the Fjallraven High Coast Totepack. I’ve not used that bag myself, but I have had my eye on it. If you are looking for. Good urban carry bag, there is the Rushfaster 22l EDC pack, or the Evergoods CHZ22 and CPL. I’ve not used the CPL, but I really like the CHZ. Great urban carry pack. I have reviews on both the Rushfastet and CHZ22 bags if you want to get a bit deeper into each of those bags.

@@whunderwhoiam2489 this bag functions far better than I expected. You don’t always need a ton of features in a bag. Sometimes that just makes them cluttered and unusable. I have only had the AER Fitpack, and while I lied it, it wasn’t a very great EDC bag. I sold it shortly after finishing my review.

@@skipper4114 do you happen to have a 26l GR1 with MOLLE you can weigh? I would like to include that stat in the full review if possible.

@@jeffgrantMEDIA unfortunately I don’t. I just have a 26L heritage. The Goruck website should have the specs for the reg 26L with Molle.

@@MrWesQ I’m about to swap into mine tonight. After giving it another once over, I think the lack of shoulder MOLLE will make the straps a little more comfortable and break in faster. I do like the MOLLE on the straps personally, but I always test bags with non destructive mods first. So time will tell if I send mine in as well. Keep me posted on how long it takes to get your bag back. I would like to k ow the tournament around time.

@@deargodwhyme thanks for the comment. If I were to wear this more often I would have it altered. I will wear this a few times a year for events at my daughter’s school, and possibly a few other events. So I don’t think i will get it altered. I am satisfied with the look as it is. Now if I can swing a new job, that’s a different story.

They are not on my list, but I am creating a new one for next month. I can add them in and ask for a pair to test out.

I am actually located in Eastern PA. I am from the home of Dunder Mifflin (or Penn Paper which is the real Scranton based company the inspiration to set the show in came from).

@@skipper4114 GR adding the QA pocket is a very new development. Consumers have been asking for it for years. And they simply ignored them. I do not have a newer GR1, but I do want a 26L version again because of the finally added QA pocket. The hat being said, while both bags are pretty similar, they have different car usages. The TBB bag is more weather proof, and is intended to also be a sleeper camera bag. And the more technical materials add to the cost. And as someone who LOVES 500d/ 1000d bags ( and prefers them over any tech fabric), the X-PAC/ 500d faced material is really nice. And the harness is far more comfortable that a GR1. I don’t want to sound like I am bashing GR. As I do really love their packs. I haven’t bought a new GR1 in a few years due to their many lacks in QC and interest in doing more colabs and creating useless products than listening to their consumers (ie QA pocket). But they seem to me getting back to their old ways and finally added said QA pocket. A slick GR 1 would look nice in my lineup!… as long as there is a QA pocket that is.

@@jeffgrantMEDIA I agree with you. I just ordered a 26L slick with the quick access pocket. I know may sell my new Slate grey 26L Heritage. I have too many Gorucks and Evergoods bags so I need to sell off a few. But one thing I do like about the new Ripstop Robic fabric is that its great for Travel as its much lighter. As much as I like the 1000d its too heavy and overbuilt for my use. One thing I do love about TBB is the luggage pass through. EG understands this yet Goruck does not. Cheers.

Goruck started adding the QAP because of CT Tactical. It used to be a SCARS option but they stopped offering it there because it was a pain in the ass to add after the fact which I understand.

@@ChadCesaro I found it funny that customers have been asking GR for a QA pocket for YEARS, and they only added it as an up charge option via SCARS. Ultimately ending this options because they basically had to deconstruct the bag to add the pocket. Customers still asked for it, but instead GR made $700 GRnade that no one asked for (and yes I know the standard ones are about $150). Then they ultimately added the pocket because they were losing sales to a competitor who gave the consumers what they wanted. I'm happy they finally added the pocket to the bag, but man I wish they added it a few years ago.

@@TheFlyingotto I have a bag full of pants with me right now! haha. I will try them on with the belt on my lunchg break and have a short out tomorrow. I have Proor Rover (green), Proof Rover Double knee (canyon), 365 slim (khaki), 365 straight (grey).

The short is live with a few different pairs of pants. 2 different FNT 365 fits are included.

@@Will-yp6ny shoehorn bottle opener! I need to email them ASAP and see if they can get on that! Haha. But in all seriousness, they may have been out of the shoe bags at the time. Having worked retail and in shipping/ receiving, we would sometime ship out items like that if we were out of stock. It got to the buyer faster than holding it of a few days/ weeks. If they complained, we shipped it when it was back in stock. Try emailing them about it. I’m sure they will make it right. They are pretty cool to chat with.
