I am now a 4 handicap (and much older) who has shot under par a few times so I stay pretty calm on the course but when I was much younger and just starting to get pretty good, like shooting mid 80's, I used to get really hot when I didn't play up to my expectations. Once I missed a putt and turned and helicoptered my putter towards my cart at full speed. It went right trough the cart seating area and decapitated my cart partner's big Gatorade Styro cup and went out the other side without touching anything else. The cart was easily 40 yards away so it was a hell of a throw (I played Short Stop in high school) and I was damn proud of it but our cart was soaked with Gatorade and my buddy was none too happy. turned out later I discovered the putter had struck something solid because it had a slight bend in it towards the bottom of the shaft but I liked how it presented so I kept it and that was the putter I eventually used to shoot under par the first time. I now use a Scotty Cameron putter that I really like but I am not sure what happened to my old mallet putter, wish I would have saved it.

Ian Woosnam - he was older and that was the first time he had been in contention for a major in over a decade. And would most likely be his last - and it actually was.
Tied for the lead in the final round, the caddie put too many clubs in the bag.
His caddie deserved to have his head knocked off or worse.
The amazing thing is that Woosnam didn’t fire him. He actually said his caddie was a good fellow and just made a mistake. So he kept him as his caddie. Well, that was until two tournaments later, when after a night of drinking, the caddie slept in and missed the tee time
I wish Sergio would bring his temper back..we need more of those antics!!!
Henrik is legendary, he said "nope F this club" and casually moved on hahahhahahah I wish could afford to do that

One tantrum throwing golfer that always comes to my mind is Rory Sabbatini. I have seen that guy throw so many tantrums it is incredible. One year at the John Deere Classic in Silvis Illinois, I watched him throw tantrum after tantrum in a round that at the end of the round he flipped the ball into the pond on 18 after finally getting the ball into the hole. That was after having thrown 2 tantrums earlier on the same hole. He threw a tantrum for ending up in the woods on the right side of the fairway then another after having to chip it out then another after finally holing out a putt for a double bogey 6. I had CBS passes which allowed me to sit right behind the green under the announcers tower and got a front row seat to it.

Maybe 25 years ago or so, I witnessed Paul Goydos completely lose it on I believe the 9th hole during the Westchester classic. It had rained most of the week prior to the round I attended. He drove it left into a fairway bunker, and must have gotten a bad lie. His second shot didn't even clear the end of the long bunker, and I remember him screaming "nice %#&$ing trap rake!" F bombs continued, and eventually a marshal came over. Then he starts going off on the marshal on a verbal tirade. Was almost expecting him to get disqualified.

Ian Woosnam : I was at the tee when this happened, and to be fare, I thought he dealt with it well, he muttered a few words and expletives at his caddy, and quite rightly so, it's his job to check. People forget he was in contention at the time, and the penalty basically took him out of it.
Yeah, was gutted for him. He did well to keep going as well as he did after that and chucking the extra driver to the side of the tee was hardly a tantrum, was it?

Sergio has always had a bad attitude during tournaments which is why I don't watch him play. Golf is a gentlemans game and his antics are not in the same class. I wonder if he's like this with his wife. If so, I'd leave.

Having to wear a sponsor's shoe that loses grip at the start of the downswing must be annoying.
