I've been told by Pirek from Techland that the new knife animation is coming in the next update. They didn't release it along with the bundle as it needed more polish apparently

According to some moderators on the official dying light subreddit, the dev team said they're planning to release knife animations soon and just need some polishing
Animations release later instead of on the release of the DLC.....
Isn't that just false information when selling the product cuz it looks like it it doesn't matter if they release the animations later it's still false marketing
@shadowxd2504 they originally planned to release it along the dlc but held back the animation alone instead of the entire update all together, so it really isn't that bad. We'll be getting the update soon anyways

DLC coming out next year, it's the summer of horrors fest, every event comes with something to keep people interested, the first one did the same thing

Here’s all the daily challenges for anyone:
Day 1: Kill 50 bandits/renegades with a blunt weapon
Day 2: Kill 120 infected with environmental damage (spikes, traps, etc.)
Day 3: Kill 120 enemies with fall damage
Day 4: Kill 150 enemies using ranged weapons
Day 5: Dismember 150 infected using slashing weapons
Day 6: Kill 120 infected using explosives
Day 7: Kill 80 special infected by any means necessary
Lot of work for a trinket from the premiere of broke back moutain.. 🤠 🌈

I will be honest I bought the bundle on PS5 and I can't for some reason install the PS5 version of it. I basically did everything needed to figure out why and still won't install. I'm not sure what is going on and I'm confused since it kept conatantly giving me the licensing error even though I can download the PS4 version of it no problem. Is it some bug in the store or something?

@@holichubbz8218 I took some time to log into the app to see if downloading it there would work and it did, if you're trying to install it until it's fixed for on console download for the manage content section I suggest using the apps associated with the services. I think it's right now a temporary console issue.

Dear developers, of course I understand the style and all that, but please fix the hairstyles in the game, the apocalypse after all, the hairstyles must match, at least change them a little.

is anybody else having the problem with the dlc not downloading correctly, i downloaded the ps4 version of the dlc when i have the ps5 version of the game, and it wont let me choose which version to download

Techland, you must remove nerf of spears on the area during the “primate-a” challenge or add some more time.
It’s impossible to kill the gorilla in 30s and this close players from achieving the true champion achievement.

Why am I not even surprised about the knife animations not being in the game as they were advertised?
It’s almost like this happen before. Oh wait, I did. The entire last generation gameplay trailer was false advertisement even the game play trailers for new gen had a lot of false advertising in it.
And then to top all of that techland is being bought by Tencent a Studio notorious for being shady so I’m very curious to see how much lower the dying light devs are willing to go because of this

Hey Aronofsky to Caesars but I accidentally missed the first day. I was wondering if there’s gonna be a make up day
I wish these were not a daily challenges or at least give a chance to catch up on it and do what we missed on last day of the event for the charm. I go to work so when I get home I have no time at all to even start the daily challenge. I already missed a day so now I miss out on the charm and their no point in me even trying to do the rest of the dailys because of it. This event was not good because of that. A lot of us have jobs that can just stay at home all day and play the event daily. Please don't bring back daily events like this without some sort of catch up system for the people that can't make it everyday

Dying Light and The Walking Dead are my top favorite zombie franchises, but this is honestly a bit disappointing. No Daryl stuff (because he isn't in the comics)? Ok, excused. But no Negan outfit, no "Rick's" Machete (red handle), no Rick's pistol (if guns still haven't been added to the game, then excused as well), no Clementine content when it would have been safe since she's been adapted in the comics, etc...

Hello, I am a loyal player of "Dying Light2". I am very satisfied with the recent update, but I have a few suggestions for the overall game. I would appreciate it if your company could consider them. Please note that these are just suggestions.
Firstly, the Nightmares (volatiles) in this version are extremely powerful. Although the overall horror atmosphere has been enhanced, their damage output is too high. I get knocked down after just a few attacks, even when wearing Level9 damage reduction gear. I hope that future updates can slightly weaken the Nightmares or adjust their difficulty on normal or easy modes.
Secondly, I really enjoyed the slow-motion effect during the drop kick attack animation in the previous version. Unfortunately, it has been removed in this version, and I feel disappointed about it. I really liked the immersive feeling it brought. I hope that it can be added back in future updates, or players can have the option to manually adjust it.
Thirdly, if there are plans to update the PvP mode, I hope that your company can implement an anti-cheat system. As we all know, the PvP mode (Be The Zombie Mode) in "Dying Light1" had a very toxic environment with cheaters using hacks, mods, and even causing crashes for others, making it unplayable. I hope that your company can introduce an anti-cheat system in the PvP mode of "Dying Light2", which would improve the PvP gaming environment to some extent. We don't want a situation where, like in "Dying Light1",9 out of10 PvP matches end up crashing.
Lastly, I would like to see more attack animations for the death from above move against NPC enemies. For example, similar to "Dying Light: Bad Blood", multiple attack animations can be introduced when targeting human NPC enemies. For instance:1) If the player is holding a one-handed weapon and the enemy survives the attack, the player could perform a neck slash and then kick the enemy away.2) If the enemy can be killed with the attack, the player could perform two neck slashes, resulting in the enemy's death.3) If the enemy survives multiple death from above attacks, both that enemy and other enemies could enter an evasive state, dodging the player's subsequent death from above attacks until the player switches to a different attack mode.
These are just my personal suggestions, and I hope that your company can consider them. Although it may not be entirely possible, I wish "Dying Light2: Stay Human" continues to improve!
PS: Additionally, I hope that Techland can pay attention to the PvP environment of "Dying Light1". I also request that a proper anti-cheat system, such as EAC (Easy Anti-Cheat), is implemented in the multiplayer mode (Be The Zombie Mode). This is really important because after playing for a day, the game crashes dozens of times!!!!!!

I haven't played the game for a long time, I saw that they updated, and now volatiles walk freely at night, but something I noticed before, enemies don't drop their weapons when they are killed, Has that changed?
