- I went down to Martins ferry and Rayland in hope of seeing the Unstoppable Locomotives for the movie. I saw 9 of the engines they use, i even got up close to a few while they were getting ready to shoot! These are the loco's for the Movie "Unstoppable"!
Enjoy!

great picutres! 5*****
Amazing video! Great luck on seeing these
The AWVR is a Hollywood fabrication is fictional line. The closest is the Allegheny Valley Railroad(AVR) which took over the remains of the Mononhahelia Connection railroad when LTV Steel went Bankrupt. The AVR runs about 60 miles of trackage out of the Pittsburg area. The Movie Co. put in a "W" to release the AVR from liability in case of a grade crossing accident. All movie companies do that.
cool
Wow, great pics! I was down there too!!
No
I wish CP kept at least one of the locomotives in the AWVR paint scheme for special interest.
bkriegel95 oh so cp was the one that let them paint over... I wonder where it is now
Meme Central the GE (red and black) locomotives are CP's. I'm not sure who owns the EMD (Gray and blue w/ yellow) locomotives.
probably scraped
the wheeling and lake erie owns the emd sd40-2s. one of the sd40-2s is seen in the video with what looks like pallets on the front of it. that was a scrapped sd40 that they used as a 360 degree camera car.
bkriegel95 There are some CP locos with faded stripes from the AWVR movies
Excellent pics Trey!!! I know this way too early to ask but when is the movie going to come out after its made?
@Trainmasterkreks I wondered that too, especially since in the movie it clearly retains it's original equipment handbrake on the left side of the short nose.
did you get any video?
@Ohiorailfan thanks my friend ;)
because they have need other engines for back up, i think there are 4 SD40-2 with the numbers 1206. i think 3 work and one is a movie locomtive that does not run.
Trains
,(;)4)4)4)4$
I think its because its for a movie. I'm not exactly sure though.
@Kbob3985 I think that happened after they hit a semi in the movie I think it was.
alright i will look for that when i see it today. also those are AC4400CW's because of the GE steerable trucks on them. do a little research and you"ll find out i'm right.
Nice shots!! What type of locomotive is 1206?
SD40-2
EMD
这电影真刺激,直接拿真车拍,不知道7375是不是真的翻车爆炸了
@rockguitarist946 there is
Great video! Did you know that those AC440CW's are from the Canadian Pacific?
That si my s🎸🎙️
MY m si will
It looks as though the first AC4400CW had it's right side ditchlight area smashed in. Any story behind this?
Kbob3985 hit a semi truck
When is this movie supposed to air?
Ian H 2010
I ask of the engines 5607 and 6032 of the AWVR
