Norfolk Southern diesel bearing the Operation Lifesaver logo on its paint job acting as lead diesel followed by all the AWVR locomotives that took part in the movie and the freight cars, including the Prixton Chemicals tankers and two prop 1206s. Nice!
Also, all the AWVR diesels that were borrowed from Canadian Pacific or Wheeling & Lake Erie Railways had their real life numbers over the ones they had in the movie since they were travelling on main line tracks instead of filming for the movie.
Have to avoid problems with the Federal Railroad Administration for using movie locomotives on main line tracks without authority.

@TboltSiren1000T They covered them with NS engine numbers so they could be identified as they were operational locomotives. They had two sets so they could pull the train in either direction. 1206 is actually a dummy loco which was built by the studio which is why the number is actually on there. the film numbers are hidden under the sheet and in some cases edited in post production.

The train looks to include every non-prop locomotive plus every freight car from both the runaway train and Washington's train, and some prop cars. The order of cars in the runaway consist looks mostly symmetrical from front to back, so they could film in either direction. Also check out the graffiti by the artist RIME who they commissioned, look him up. Pretty dope.
I think they based "Prixton" off Procor tank cars, which was part of the Pritzker family businesses. Humorous play on a name.
