As a Gamecock fan I think the 4th down TD was my most nervous point. Having to throw a touchdown just to get to overtime on fourth down was a nail biter. Was really frustrated with Mike's fumbles and thought we should have had 2 TDs in the first half. That's how I remember feeling.
I remember not getting any flags to go our way until Shaw came in the game. There were a few no calls in the first half that could had been game changers.
Over ten years later this remains the high water mark as a gamecock fan. I remember seeing this game live somewhere near the away seats but not quite at them and getting antsy around the middle of the 3rd quarter while Dad insisted we ride it out. Sure enough, he was right to do so.
Evan Perryman don’t disagree, for sure when the QB that made the come back was sick and hurt but in that players defense Conner Shaw was wayyyyyy wayyy underrated he could have been an NFL back up of not crawled his way to starter he had 1 int that whole 2013 season and like 20 something TDs he’s was good, just happened to be Johnny footballs year taking all the attention from everyone else
Every game has a questionable call or two. Or calls not made. It's the nature of human refs, but if it was called by computer I could see the cries of favoritism within the sport to be even worse.

Despite how amazing that 2013 season was, this still breaks my heart

The announcer MULTIPLE TIMES: “a great kicker in Andrew baggett”
The irony in that statement is still funny
This happened the night before my wedding. We had it on the projector screen at the Rehearsal Dinner until the end. Unbelievable.
Yeah 🎉
Matthew sponhour version soon
My dad and uncle were screaming what he missed the kick
This had some questionable things not be called and tried to deny a touch down I remember this game don’t remember these details
Regardless a team shouldn’t blow a 17 point 4th quarter lead.

Charles Isbell couldn’t agree with you more. The fact he didn’t even get an SEC honorable mention with only 1 pick the entire season is ridiculous.
@@charlesisbell6561 he started a game and did really well too. He just got injured
