Awesome video! I lived through the emergence of the hip hop breakdance culture while living in NYC in 81-84 and breakdancing was everywhere and the two crews that went to the top were RSC and NYC breakers
You lived during this time in the right place! Cool you must have great memories !!! :D :D :D
would be dope to watch Ken and Legs reunite to do another routine again
Notice how Legs won't ever discuss Lorenzo Kuriaki Soto's passing.....read up on it, very interesting...not surprised
RIP BUCK 4 & KURAKAI😢💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
When i first seen up rocking, thought it was so f'n cool, still love it.. its like a war dance!!!
The Crew That Put Breakdance On The Map...Worldwide!! Respect!!
I was very proud of my giant clean Baby Swipes back in the day. I wasn't even really a breaker, my thing was popping & locking, The Robot, King Tut and Body Wave but the few things I could do on the floor was the snake and baby swipes. But girls went crazy when I went down to do baby swipes- it usually meant I was completely Out of Moves!!
Cultura break dance !! Wau que época por Dios !!!
I remember in the early eighties being in Central Park with my mom and dad or my Uncle and watching these Cats Do amazing things #GenX 💪🏽🇵🇷💪🏽
Legends dope vid b boy for life
Yes The Real Rock Steady Crew in da house !!!! Peace
Magnifico--
Brilliant stuff.I hope a book comes out on the history of the b-boy from the beginning to today, especially with breakin being included in the Olympics(I can remember ‘ACTION’ Chino Lopez of the New York City Breakers talking about this before the 1984 Olympics in LA).As incredible as today’s B-Boys & B-Girls are, this is the era of Breakin for me...the early to mid 1980s.🤟
Hello, I recommend the following book: "ZOOM, the universe of hip hop dance" it is written by a French, but it has been translated into several languages, you should find it on Amazon or other I think ... The writer goes every year to the US is to interview the greatest of Bboying, Popping and other Hip-hop dance ;)
Otherwise in this playlist, I made videos on Bboying, Rap, Djing in the United States and in France, the videos are in French and with English subtitles, you will tell me if you like my work. Peace! czcams.com/video/ZHA3FxKEPwY/video.html The videos are not professional, but I get better with time, the more recent videos are more quality.
@@basteo Good stuff. Also viewed an old video of French b-boys, THE PARIS CITY ROCKERS on CZcams from the 1980s.Keep up the good work...PEACE🤟
