Here's my order of the three: Boogaloo Shrimp > Normski > Mr. Wave Although 2nd in the order, I'm most intrigued by Normski's marionette-like style👌 I wish that he would've been in the infamous Roxy battle in Beat Street!! I believe that he would've totally upstaged Mr. Wave💯
An awesome blast from the past! What was the song playing at the beginning of the vieeo? It was awesome. Also the songnat the 5 minute mark James Brown sounding song mix that Mr Wave was dancing to. Its amazing how song choice can elevate a dance performance to incredible heights. Mr Wave and Boogaloo Shrimp are two of the most spectacular dancers the world has ever known. Period.
Meh. I disagree. He was the most repetitive though. He had a bunch of innovative signatures though had how he moved looked arguably the most unreal. Respect to your opinion.
I’m not saying he wasn’t good he is real good, but what he is to dance is what Densil Washington is like to movies or jack Johnson is like to music, they are great if you see them every now and then but if you watch a compilation of their work it’s all the same...
He did do other bboy moves but it seemed he stuck to the wave, hence the name. when you see most of him on film, He was the only dude moving like that. he probably wanted to stamp that shit in to show his originality.
Would have paid good money to see Normski and Shrimp battle in their prime.
Hell, I would pay good money to see that now.
All three of these dude's were NaSTy! Turbo was the best when he wasn't mated to Ozone.
Wow even though are styles were very different it is nice to know LA/NYC kids have a place in dance history

Mr wave is a one trick pony.

@@bustamango863 Dude Denzel is one of the most versatile actors in Hollywood. You may have a better point with Will Smith
