i dissagree with the simmons and buddah baker thing. we all were all in for baker ladt year and were willing to give up a 2nd for him. its steep but id still make that trade if i could. i think were gonna rock with what we have now and im not mad at it. but if you could tell me we could have cjgj and baker at safety long term... id take that deal. lock up young talent is what were about and our superbowl window is wide open. with them youd have a top 3 safety duo for years. and immediately have a top 5 secondary. wed just need a bit of DL depth and were good. a stark turnaround from last years bottom third in defense and secondary.
imagine that secondary: Cjgj Baker at safety. rodgers and slay on the outside, dejawn at slot. and as backups you have brown blankenship maddox mitchel and ringo ready to take over next year.

Brian Urlacher went from safety to linebacker and had a great career. If Hunt is even 50% of that, I would be happy. He's still very raw so its a stretch

I saw DeJean at Safety at draft. It will let him play until Brown comes back and by then Maddox will be injured and Bradberry will be gone. Leaving Slay, Mitchell, CGJ, DeJean, Rodgers as the secondary. Pretty good.

Hey, Thanks so much for the support. Yea I’ve thought about bringing on players. It’s something that I’ve actually had set up in the past with a few players but things fell through for various reasons. It’s something that I’ll eventually do again at the right time but more importantly the right situation. It’s important to me to be able to speak freely if that makes any sense. Some time soon for sure though. Thank you so much I think it’s a great idea in the right situation.

Yeah I really like hunt to a lot I love that he was a safety before. He can drop back we need guys like that we had no coverage guys he would be a very nice addition to the line. And I believe he can get after the quarterback I really do think the same way about him I feel something special I feel like he's going to be really really good and I feel the same way as you on this I have since they said his name in the draft. I don't know why but I feel the same way before I even knew the guy I just heard his name
Hopefully, we don't become obsessed over his his potential as a a pass rusher, and we recognize that we have a really good prospect at outside linebacker in terms of run support and coverage.
The NFL is all about effective strategies becoming trends, developing strategies to exploit those trends, and those strategies becoming trends.
We were getting cooked on the short passing game... we sure up the secondary, but the truth is, if you don't want to get smoked long, you get good coverage from your LBs, because you aren't relying on your DBs for all your coverage... seriously? What's the point of a LB? It's because they are the compromise between d-line and your backfield...
I feel like this is about to be schemed into importance in the near future.

When you look at hunt and the pick clearly there were more NFL ready players on the board but I don’t know how many of those guys have the tools this kid has. Drafting him is only step one. They have to develop him, he has to want to be great and will see what happens. I agree with you on Howie and cap space. Always good to have right now.

I think hunt will indeed make an impact, especially with davis, carter, and smith on the line, I would say sweat but I am talking Smith's speed, hunt could be that hybrid type edge rusher. I also think the eagles should bring in another edge, lb, safety, and WR. did i mention lb? I don't think I mentioned lb or safety. I don't want to see cooper sit as safety all year. I want him to be a swiss army knife.
