The secret invasion is one of the most devastating wars that happened where no one could trust anyone even their team mates. Been really looking forward for marvel to do something about it, and the trailer only giving a silver of how major ( and probably confusing this going to be.
This series will lead into secret wars but there's no spider woman to use in the mcu and she was the most important in the secret wars comic as she was the skrull queen in disguse

Secret wars are infiltration wars, but maybe there is a race that can change. It is possible that not only the Skrulls can change into other characters. There are some threads. They could be mutants, or another race, in She Halk, there was one character that could change, or they could be a Skrull species. In Captain Marvel, the Nova forces want to kill all Skrulls. Perhaps there is a certain species of Skrull race that are different but similar to the known Skrulls and operate stealthily. These can be Orcs' Skrulls. And they're looking for something to give them power that Nick Furry knows about.
Wow! It looks like Marvel has grown up. No silly flying folks with super powers. Just super brains and great acting. Hope the story is good. The filming is fantastic. Fury is badass.
I am on the fence. What made this good in the comics is that you didn't know what superhero was an invader which made it interesting. This looks like a new invasion on the pod people with Nick Fury. It doesn't feel like Marvel and the stakes are not as high if the invaders are not Marvel heroes.
The fact that hero's can't trust any government officials, while simultaneously having to keep them safe is pure havoc. The stakes are higher than you think. Also they have a Super Skrull.
@@kangtheconqueror9545 In most secret invasion type stories, there is the element of the alien taking over the government. Its not new. Like I said before it was the fact that that the heroes couldn't trust each that made it good, especially that the aliens had the hero's power and I believe were immune to telepaths.. This raised the stakes and made it unique so you had to wonder if the big hitters who were leading you were the enemy.
I imagine part of the reason they aren't using heroes shown in the series already is because that jeopardizes that hero's actions in their past appearances - how long has this individual been an invader, etc. It becomes a dangerous game unless they present a timeline of when the real person was swapped with an invader, or unless they have the original hero and the invader confront one another so that there aren't any timelines that are messed up or retconned by this show
I agree with you there, however this is just a trailer. If you showed heroes going bad in the trailer, it would ruin the twist in the actual show. We haven't seen many characters since endgame so the idea some of them could have been replaced in the aftermath is possible, and I wouldn't expect them to ruin that suprise in the first trailer for the show.
This COULD be the chance for Marvel to introduce Quake and the Secret Warriors and establish a new team that could be as big as the Avengers...but they'll blow it.

I want a long and confusing movie about this secret wars, you should use Chloé Zhao and Waititi as directors, make it long and full of slow paced and confusing action and dumb dialog , bring in cameos and were in business
Finally and mark it… when this level of quality of work appears, meaning the whole big group is coming back soon… for the past whole year, spiderman and the rest is just trying to get the plot tie up… but this time they are preparing the big group to come back.

This totally has a different tone than any marvel project. Definitely more spy thriller espionage. More so than winter solder
