#diy #tutorial #wirewrap - Zábava
I have been making copper wire jewellery and always like to see how others make clasps and finish off their designs. Yours are beautiful and the video is very well done, inspiring to watch thank you x
Beautiful and very easy to make. I used a 4 gauge wire, which also worked perfectly.
Thank you!!!
Pretty design, nice work! Thank you!
Sweet design. I especially love your clasp. Found you thru a reel on FB.
Absolutely love this bracelet. I've got some of the flat copper wire, didn't know what to do with it and thanks to you I know. Ty
omg this is gorgeous...tripped over your site, you came up in my feed i'd been looking for refreshers on wire work for older designs ideas. i already do similar bracelets with leather swatches, leather cord & leather/suede lacing w/different cords, other times with gems, polished wood, metal, & beads combos. i Fingerweave, Macramé, & Braid in leather/suede, always loved combining. so glad you popped up, your sites the refresher i needed, i've had my stash of wire/copper way too long!
I love this bracelet!! I had it in my head to make , but didn’t know HOW to go about it thanks 🙏🏽
These turned out amazing!! Thank you 😊

Very, very pretty!
Lovely , I have flat wire that I have been wanting to use , so will give this tutorial a go 😊
That is so pretty and it does look straightforward and a great beginner piece.
This is very pretty! You have a wonderful talent. Thank you for teaching us!!!
So pretty, patience like yours is what I need, I end up going to fast on projects.
The wire turned STUNNING 😍!!FANTASTIC PRETTY!!👌⚘
You are an amazing teacher. God bless. Keep up the great work! Beautiful jewelry 😊
Thanks for your insight I was wondering what to do with my copper strip wire
This is gorgeous I am going to have to make this bracelet thank you for this tutorial
Really enjoyed this tutorial, especially the clasp formatting, possible use in my beadwork
I like it, I like it a lot. I just may have to try to make one
Luv it!
Absolutely beautiful. It seems like this would be a somewhat relaxing project. ❤❤❤
You do some very nice work.
Thank you!
Love your videos ❤
Don’t trust myself and all my work to a undrilled gem !
Great bracelets, I have just about every wire except for the strips like yours so I am going to try my 1/8th inch copper tubing hammered flat and textured. Beautiful work, thank you.
I was glued to my iPad & watched until the end. That means I enjoyed your tutorial. New Subbie❤
Que hermosa quedo gracias ❤
Merci c'est très bien fait, j'apprécie beaucoup votre démonstration.
I like it very much 😀
Magnificent ❤❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing
Beautiful work! I have to say that I am amazed that you don't use any kind of glue to hold in the cab. You obviously have a LOT of faith in the tightness of your wire working! Gorgeous piece!
Great 👍
This is absolutely stunning. I'm hearing impaired and was wondering if you would please turn on the close caption, that way I could understand better how you made this beautiful bracelet.
Very Nice ! Great video . Seems like the stone needed to be glued to keep it secure. But i love the look of the bracelet.
Hello Lindsey those are such a great designs. Thanks for sharing all of them 🤍 I truely appreciate your videos, could you please share your jewelry tools in one video? I can’t find some of the tools online :(
Hello, beautiful bracelet, I love it! Just a suggestion...instead of using two strips, we can use just one wider strip😊.
You can alter the design any way you like for your own project.
Do you have videos of other jewelry items made with this style of copper wire?
This is beautiful!!! Thanks
I have a micro tutorial for earrings on my IG. I plan to do more in the future.
@@cleftoftherockcreations4289 Thanks so much!! Adornfult yours, Sandy
How wide is that flat wire? I didn't buy the Rio Grande because it's just too expensive and they only sell the big spools, so I bought a cheaper craft wire. It's 5mm wide. I tried the 10mm cabs and they were way too big. So I ordered 8mm and they're still too big. So I just ordered 6mm. Hopefully they will work! Bracelet is almost done except for the cab and the clasp!
I love this!! Thank you so much for sharing. What did you use to cut the copper strips?
Flush cutters
Great design! Thank you for sharing. One question I might have just missed it.... are you using dear soft for half hard half round wire? Thank you in advance! 😊
Dead soft.
Wow I love this design! Can't wait to try it, thank you for sharing. I see the label for item number from Rio Grande. What is the width of this strip? I see they list 7 different ones.
Item number is 132215. Label says: .125" x .020"
I see 1/8, but looks wider on video...?
@@lynng3421 if you see the comment above, I put the item number and specifications that are listed on the label. I bought it so long ago, I can't recall if it said 1/8 of an inch anywhere when I ordered it.
So nice to watch a video you can follow as opposed to the ones that are done at supersonic speeds.
Beautiful!!!! How do you oxidize
If you look in the video description, I have a short tutorial linked on how I oxidize.
Very cool bracelet . Can you glue the cab on first then wrap it ? I get worried that its not on well and will fall out .
Yes you can glue it if you prefer. Use B6000 jewelry glue and let it dry for 24 hours before wrapping the wire around it.
@@cleftoftherockcreations4289 awesome , thank you 😊
Ahh....Mozart! Great chooice!!!
Luddy!!! Better choice!!!
Is that metal available in silver?
I'm not sure. I haven't looked.
I need to ask what stops the Center Stone from coming loose or popping out when wearing
The tension of the wire we wrap around it is what keeps it in place. You can use a dab of jewelry glue if you're not confident you can get it tight enough.
what gauge is this copper
How many mm wide is the wire before you hammer it? Was checking rio for their wire and the number says it’s 1/8” but I feel like it looks like it’s wider than that.
Item number is 132215. Label says: .125" x .020"
I'm sorry I may have missed this. What gauge is the strip wire please. This is so beautiful😊
It's linked in the description.
@@cleftoftherockcreations4289 Unless I am missing something, that link shows many different gauges of that copper strip - 28g, 24g, and 14g. Can I assume that it is the 14 gauge since that's where the link lands? Thanks! This piece is gorgeous!
I have looked on Rio grande for specs from label. Unable to locate. Would you mind sending direct link to the one you purchased, please?
Looks like it's 3/8.
www.riogrande.com/product/copper-1-8-strip-1-lb-spool-24-ga-dead-soft/132215?code=132213
@Cleft of the Rock Creations thank you so much! I appreciate you coming back and letting me know. Happy to watch more of your beautiful creations!
@@cleftoftherockcreations4289 the link automatically takes you to the 3/8" selection, which is what I ordered. When it arrived it looked much wider than what you used. Are your strips 1/8" wide?
@@varinaboudreaux3128 I noticed the label behind the one on the video and the item number says 132225. Maybe Rio made a mistake with labeling.
Looks to be this: Copper 1/8" Strip, 1-Lb. Spool, 24-Ga., Dead-Soft
Where did you get your little hammer?
It belonged to my late stepfather. He used it for his leather work. When I inherited it, the rubber handle was gone so it was just bare metal. I have a friend who does woodwork make the wooden handle for me.
Is the cab glued or taped down as you wrap the wire around it?
No. I would show that in the tutorial if it were. You can always add a dab of jewelry glue if you prefer! 🙂
Does the copper turn your skin green?
It depends on individual body chemistry. But bracelets that aren't tight on the skin shouldn't turn it green. Typically that only happens with copper rings when they get wet or if a person has a sensitivity to copper.
Hi, what kind of tool was thw bracelet shaper called?
Bracelet bending pliers.
Is that considered bezel wire?
It's called strip wire on the website I bought it from, but could easily be called bezel wire too.
I tried this with an oval stone and never got it to actually be “set”. Anyone else have issues? Or is it just me and my newness to the art? 😊
If absolutely necesarry, you can always "cheat" and use a small drop of jewelry glue to bond the cab to the flat wire, let it dry for 24 hours, then wrap your round wire around it. 🤫
@@cleftoftherockcreations4289 thank you so much! I ended up putting wire through a bead, but I will try again with a stone on sterling!
What kind of tattoo is that?
Not sure which one you're referring to but on my left arm is artwork by Alex Grey(I used to be a huge Tool fan), and on my right wrist I have "carpet diem." My mother, sister, and brother, and I all went and got them together to make light of me having epilepsy.
Just for the record, since I became a Christian I have a conviction to no longer get tattoos. These are part of my testimony though! 🙂
