Thank you! Love that you explain and share so much. Including mistakes to help us!!!
Thank you for watching I like to keep the mistakes in so that everyone knows they can recover from them.

Thank you! 😊
Can be forgiving with a beautiful gem ! Thank you for sharing your Art !
Jim, so glad to find you have your own channel. That bracelet turned out beautifully. Just a helpful hint...I have noticed many jewelry creators out there with bench blocks that appear to have some rust. I have a really nice work bench with drawers, one for measuring tools, bench block and hammers, jewelry tools, etc..What I do is save all of those little packets from vitamins, tennis shoes, etc that absorb moisture, put them in a small netted jewelry bag and place them in each drawer. I have had my bench block for over 8 years and it looks brand new. I love your work and cannot wait to see the rest of your videos. Thank you.
Thank you for watching. That's a great tip, I'm gonna try that. I'll haver to be more mindful about keeping those packets instead of throwing them away.
@@JimMcIntosh They help suprisingly well.

Thank you for this. I got the tool that you use. I haven’t tried it yet but I will today. I still need to get the wire size . I do have wire that is a little smaller. I will tell you how it goes.
Awesome!! Let me know how it goes

I have some gemstones.
Could you please tell me which brand of glue is stronger and can effectively adhere the gems to the ring setting? Because some glues fail to stabilize gemstones and result in easy detachment.
Thanks
Thank you for your question. I don't use a lot of glue in my work. Most people like E6000, however I don't think that it is the strongest for securing stones. I would probably go with a 2 part epoxy. I've used 2 part epoxy made by Gorilla Glue, Vigor makes a pretty good 2 part epoxy, and epoxy 330 works well. I hope this helps.
Its very smart tool this flat plier i will prepare my own...to set the flat wire...in Brazil we have a huge artsan comunity ...that we call it "malucos de Br"....traveling all over the country....with our art.. i use dead soft stainles steel..its hard to work with..but is very affortble ptice wire e and everlast shinning is beatifull...and is antilergic metal...
Great! Thank you for watching
Hi Jim, great tutoring as usual. Can I ask where I can buy the wire wrap hold pliers? Thanks.
Thank you. You can purchase WrapMaker Pliers on my website wirearteducation.com
The wirewrap pliers link is not working. Are they still available?
Right now the only place that has them in stock is JTV. Here's the link - www.jtv.com/search?Ntt=wrapmaker+pliers&type=products&N=4243964577&Ntk=All
Great bracelet! Where do you get those "wrap maker pliers"? Never seen them before...
Thank you very much. You can find wrapmakers on my website - wirearteducation.com. They are manufactured and distributed by beadsmith.
I found them on Etsy.
I have just discovered your channel. How can we find the wire wrapping pliers that you use. Thank you
I have partnered with Beadsmith to manufacture and distribute the pliers. I am waiting for them to get a shipment in, so hopefully I will get them in soon. When I do I will make an announcement via my CZcams Channel.
Hello Jim, can I ask where did you get your flat nose plier (that can insert wire alongside) from? I could like to get one. Thanks
I was producing them myself and making them available on my website (wirearteducation .com). However, I have partnered with Beadsmith and they are manufacturing some new and improved ones that we hope will be available in May 2022. The ones that they are producing are beautiful - nice handles and high quality craftsmanship. Stay tuned
@@JimMcIntosh Thanks Jim
@@JimMcIntosh Hi Jim, i went to your website but can't find the tool that I am looking for.
Can the stone be set in the middle of the bracklet?
I don't see why not. That's the good thing about how I demonstrate jewelry making - it's only a basic starting point. I love it when people take the basic and turn it into something new...something their own. Try it and let me know how it turns out.
Which flat nose pliers do you have?
I am using a new product from BeadSmith called WrapMaker Pliers. I designed and created them to make wire wrapping easier. You can get them via my website - www.wirearteducation.com/tools
I made this with the 18 gauge and it bends out of shape easily.
You may need to temper the bracelet shank by hammering it with a rawhide mallet. When you do this be sure to put the bracelet on a bracelet mandrel or something firm and round,
