Yours must be a later 46 column shift. I have a 1945 column shift with full floating rear axels. Mb jeeps and 1945-early 1946 cj2as had these. Later changed to standard axels.

With enough time and money you can do anything! Hahah there are a few differences but it’s not a bad swap. It need to be an early cj5
