I'm a catamaran type of person but this monohull is above and beyond the average until I could see myself making a change. It looks to be spacious in a way that at 6"7 I just my feel comfortable. It's a beautiful boat.

What a beautiful yacht. Simply amazing.
I would always edge towards a yacht that can be handled by one person and there are yachts of this size out there
that you can. You may start out as a couple but I would like some room to account for accidents or illnesses incapacitating
one of the crew for a short period where a few days of bed rest was needed. I would like the ability for
me or my partner to manage on my/their own should it happen.
Some will say what if you are both ill. Well, I guess you bite the bullet as there is no choice. But having a yacht that is designed
to allow for single-handed sailing is just a plus for me personally and something that would guide purchasing.
Those seascape windows are Glorious.

I love Oyster Yachts. I just wish they had tender garages.

Know nothing about boating. Got up one morning acquainting myself with sailing theory and wanting to accomplish a 2 year RTW trip with my closest, before I die. 50 y.o and getting ready for it. I may call it the WOMO - "The World on my Oyster".

Hi. Surely having the mainsheet directly in front of the top of the rudder stock would make it difficult/problematic to use emergency steering?
Hi GWNZ, the emergency tiller extends out to the side so you could stand comfortably on the side of the aft deck and steep from in front of the pushpit area.

Will someone please answer a landlubber's question? The nomenclature is cryptic to the uninitiated. In this case, I suspect that the 67 indicates that represents the vessel's length. Is that correct? The mystery is the 5 at the end. Does that mean that the cost is five million pounds sterling, or something else? Inquiring minds would like to know.
Hi Mike! 675 is the Oyster model, all of our current range end in a “5”. The standard boat is 69’2” long overall and 65’3” at the waterline.
Out of all the oysters. the 675 is my favorite.. I like the fact that if your in the kitchen you can still be part of the conversation in the saloon.

Beautiful yacht, noticed that the drawers aren’t dovetail, maybe it’s just me, exposed dovetail joinery on drawers is classic indication of quality, not that oyster yachts are lacking in quality, just saying

Here at Oyster we use a combination of both traditional and modern boatbuilding techniques and methods of construction, and ensure these are taught to our apprentices too. There are many options for drawer construction, and after feedback from our clients we've developed a hidden locking tongue and groove system, which offers substantial strength and maximum storage space, whilst maintaining an aesthetically pleasing straight continuous grain on the drawer sides. Every Oyster we make is tailored to our clients' specifications and preferences, and if after discussion with the Joinery Manager, the client would like dovetail joints, this is of course something we could deliver.
