An almost perfect lady! Superb (seems as you really love this word, 9 times used in this presentation, lol) finishing and a smart lay out. Bimini for the helm stations and solar panels would complete the package. Congrats!

Thanks for raising this RayRay. The DNA of our 60ft-120ft ocean cruising yachts is rooted in over 20 million bluewater sailing miles and more than 90 sailing circumnavigations. We use this experience to refine our explorer sailing yachts to ensure they are capable of taking you anywhere in the world in complete luxury, comfort and safety. Safety is paramount for ocean sailing, and the helm stations on the 565 are no exception.
The helm stations are set into the cockpit and bedded into the yacht with deep recessed footwells with angled sides for secure footing when heeled over. They are also protected from flogging sheets with concealed lines fed into the winches, which are located aft within safe and easy reach of the helm station.
The helm stations have been designed from the skipper’s perspective, affording a clear view of the sails and deck, along with a wider outboard view to keep an eye out for buoys and hazards.
Additionally, the G6 hull with twin rudder design has been developed to give great handling qualities, stability and fingertip control on the helm. When the boat heels (even at extreme angles) there is always one rudder in the water at the correct angle, giving you fingertip control on the helm. There is also always the option of turning the autopilot on and enjoying further protection under the sprayhood! I hope this helps answer any concerns you have, and if you want to find out more about the intricacies of the 565 design, you can do so here: oysteryachts.com/new-sailing-yachts/oyster-565/

@@oysteryachts It's truly a beautiful boat, however, it does need some sort of protection on the helm in a sea or even in the rain as you shouldn't have to rely on auto whenever the weather is bad. I imagine that some sort of solidly built bimini or cover could be installed. A cover that could be extended over the cockpit to provide shade would be good in hot sunny conditions. Also, I'm wondering about solar; where would panels go, and do you have adequate space for a good bank of lithium batteries, I haven't seen any mention of them in the reviews and walkthroughs I've seen.

@@oysteryachtsi would choose an amel just because of the helm being so exposed. In foul weather over a long passage it would be miserable being in that helm.

Beautiful yacht. The build quality seems to be what is expected from Oyster. From the video, I get the impression that the ample saloon with high ceiling could benefit from more grab-bars for safety at sea. If owners will indeed take it for serious sailing, that'd be recommended.

Agree, they look impressive from the outside but are blocked by settees in the owners cabin and the saloon. I do not see the point of them in this configuration. At the very least those settees need to have removable backrests to let windows really let the light inside.
