You wanna see something? grab a beer and follow me. Ya see this car? I restored it this summer. I was stuck here for like twelve weeks; I had to do something. But along the way I learned about honesty, integrity, and cold-filtered, Miller Genuine Draft. You understand what I'm trying to say to you?
The first scene always stood out to me just for how rude the guy who walked in was. He clearly saw Roger and the convenience store guy talking but decided to interrupt their story to ask about seasonal beer, and did it again to ask for watch batteries. He didn't seem like he was in a hurry so he could have waited. (I know it's a cartoon and meant for comedy, but seriously.)
Where I work that's how most customers are, rude people who don't read signs and are too lazy to look for what they want themselves. Most of the time it's right in front of them but they see a worker first and pester us while we're busy.>:(
I mean one of the responsibilities of the guy's job is to assist customers where they can in a professional capacity. Not telling stories about legends.
@@luckasta6269 I am pretty sure if a boss had to choose between said employee telling a customer a legend vs helping a likely paying customer find items in the store. They would prefer for said employee to focus on helping a likely paying customer find items in the store rather than telling a person legends that are not going to make the business money. So, as you said. Your point is invalid. To break it down telling customers legends is not helping in a professional capacity and would be considered slacking off.
In my opinion American Dad Aged far better than Family Guy. American dad actually had some creative episode ideas as it got into its later years, as well as interesting characters like you see here in Roger. Family guy started off really funny and creative like American Dad, but as the years drew on Family guy began to gradually get worse as all tv shows like Family guy or the Simpson’s do, soo they started to resort to using mostly shitty jokes revolving around peters shenanigans which gets old really quickly when they do it so many times in a row, everybody hates meg jokes which to be honest I never liked, and basically reusing or old jokes that weren’t funny anymore. The show seemed to stop taking big risks and that’s what made its humor boring and drawn out as the years went on. American dad will always be better imo because to be honest I believe that the episodes somehow got better as time passed.
Well and American Dad never had the cutaway bit. Over the years there have been some funny ones sure, but many times it just wasn't funny and wasted a lot of time.
I love how Roger slapped that dude in the store that kept interrupting him and the store clerk. Because that's always the case. You're in a deep conversation, and someone always has to just come along and interrupt it with something totally meaningless.
I had a customer who was a pain in the ass and most likely spun out on drugs....come back through the line and interrupt some else's transaction to ask if I'd seen his keys😠😡🤡 He had left them on top of the 🏧 and was busy digging through the back seat of his suv😂😂
This WHOLE CLIP has too many GREAT LINES and MOMENTS for me to call out here. I just came looking for "Bert-Bert" and am leaving with a treasure trove. Thank you!
I want weed so powerful that just the tiniest hit sends you on a crazy adventure lasting for days, filled with humor and self discovery and excitement. @@ZS05 are you still into mecha stuff?
They say to this day he still hasn't fixed his driveshaft.
I don't want to go too far but Bob Todd is the Hank Scorpio of this series. An amazingly hilarious character that has yet to be used again.
Well Bob Todd was killed
Bobby Lawson no he dident
He was killed fighting Santa
He was injured during the fight with Santa but he was alive in the end.
Hopefully they get al brooks again to do Scorpio once more!
By far my favorite supporting character from American Dad! “The ladies call me Burt Burt.”
"Well...If it Ain't an Alien in a Wig!"

Favorite part
Bruh the shop clerk has an amazing story telling voice
That would be Clancy Brown, he's voiced Lex Luthor in Justice League the animated series and Mr. Crabs from SpongeBob

“I believe everything”😂😂
“Then take this map. It is my gift to you… but just know…”
Clancy Brown made this episode for me.
Someone telling you they'll let you drive their car once they fix it is the most American thing I've heard in this episode.
I love the donkey Kong reference!
So good you had to say it twice
TWICE twice ....e
I never realized Mr. Krabs owned a liquor store as well.
