@@Jaime_el_Ingeniero No problem. Basically Roger is visually referencing Chevy Chase at the Chevy Chase roast that aired on Comedy Central a few decades ago. He spent the entire roast sitting on stage with dark glasses and barely reacting to anything because he absolutely did not want to be there and everyone could feel it, so Roger copying Chevy's visual style and mannerisms should've probably been the hint he was not enjoying things

That roast was the moment when he realised that his behaviour had pissed off or alienated absolutely everybody he knew and that everybody despised him. Roasts are normally done by friends or costars, but he had no friends and all of his costars refused to attend it because they all hated him.

Man, Roger is the best in my book..I thought Stewie and Brian were, but Roger topped them(although I love them all) I can't get enough of him..so damn creative that dude
So Roger gets what he wanted, and still wasn't happy by acting _genuinely upset_ over what everyone was saying about him, even though that's the *_whole point of a roast!_* (to say mean things for the sake of a laugh) To say Roger was being ungrateful in this episode (all that over something he simply *requested* to do on his birthday, instead of an outing at a bowling alley) is a massive understatement.
Funny thing, this is based on a real life incident, namely the Friar's Club Roast for Chevy Chase. Chase also sobbed afterwards about it. (Even more like Roger, Chase has a history of being a remorseless asshole to others, proving he can't take any of it back.)
