- This 1967 Mustang has a 351 Cleveland, 4 speed, hooker headers, and a race exhaust that give it a loud tone. I take it for a quick drive on a few back roads to stretch it's legs.

My grandpa has the 1970 mustang. And still has in garage. One of the best mustangs made. The handling, power everything what it needs for american muscle. Classy car!

Of all the videos of Mustang exhaust sounds on CZcams, THIS is the best one. The stereo is awesome, you feel like your head is inbetween the dual exhausts, and the recording is top notch. 10/10 you guys!

It sounds just like the Mustang from Bullitt.
351 Cleveland is bullet proof in my eyes. Had one in my 84 F-150 with a holley four barrel and hooker headers as well lol. I miss that truck!. The body fell apart from rust too much to repair but that motor just wouldn't quit... You never found me on the road dead...
7 years later, ive built this exact same mustang. 351c tied to a toploader with hooker headers! crazy

Classic Mustangs are getting harder to find, these days. Many are either restored and expensive, or they are rust buckets (but cheaper). Depending on where you live, it's going to be hard to find and a bit expensive for a 16yr-old's first car. Not impossible, though.
67 mustangs with 351C are so beautiful. I don't blame you if you fall in love at 16. Yes you'll love it.
@@burritos1000 over here in Europe theyre expensive as hell.... Even those without engine are like 5.000, standart Coupés 10k+, Fastbacks start at 20k (for those you can work with) and convertibles.... I mean I love the '66 Convertible, but it makes more sense to buy a BMW M5 or Benz C63 just because its cheaper......

Few weeks ago for the first time in my life i actually saw fully restaurated 'stang 1966 here in Europe. I could hear it from over 300m away, big old bloke was cruising and as he passed me he put it in the famous 2nd gear and he applied 'pedal to the metal'. The feelings that rushed through me can't be described, but my manliness went up by 9000%.

This video shows why all one really needs for their Cobra replica is a 351 or stroker. Imagine this powertrain combo in any one of the replicas with side pipes. The weight savings of the sbf, much more than adequate power, all stuffed into a lightweight car would sound and drive magnificently.

D.C AHHAHAHA ye well I'm 16 Rn, gotta wait a bit, me and hi are going to fix it up as it needs some restoring, convertable. Do you mind if I ask for a opinion? It's red atm with cream interior and cream convertable roof, my dad reckons we should make it all black, what do you think?
@@stevea3685 well al black is a great timeless option. Cream was more suitable in the late 60's. I would make it all black.

@@ryanbechel8149 I unfortunately did not. I'm a big fan of Dynomax or Black Widow, you may want to check those out. I think black widow can get you close to this sound.

What system do you use? I have a fairly stock Mustang with the 351 Cleveland as well, but I want a more viscous sound.

Great yr mustang , just don’t make em like that anymore . Thankfully I picked a 67 project coupe up recently and is complete but needs work , hopefully can get it back on the road by next yr. and enjoy it as much as your enjoying yours
