The young lady who starts the song has a truly excellent broadway voice. She's wonderful. The dancers are great, too.

I have long wished that my small but beautifully formed City of Chester would see the merits of this kind of street theatre.
We have excellent buskers but no 'happenings'. The record of the audience's faces as they cottoned on to what was happening was a joy to watch and it added to the tourist value of the place. I felt I was there.
Thanks for sharing this and thanks to my mate Max for passing it on.
    Brilliant

Great video. I'm not use to hearing this song being sung by an American woman rather than a young British boy.

For those who don't know this was staged, think about the fact that they're all wearing microphones on their clothes. All of a sudden, music and their voices are pumped over a PA, picked up well on the multi-angle cameras.
YES, this group is doing random public appearances and it's already made the news. It's FANTASTIC. I hope they continue with other pieces - I bet it took a while to practice this to do it in public. I also hope they don't ever do political messages. GOOD JOB!

Yes it is a good musical. I just discovered it after hating it for many years due to the fact that I had to put it on at school. Trouble was, it was so badly organised as they swapped the cast round for every scene to get everyone a part. Nobody knew what the hell was happening :)

Dustin the Wind I live in Buffalo, NY our winters are 5 months long. November- March. Buffalo is called ( SNOW CAPITAL OF USA ) True Lake Erie dumps 10-12 feet every winter. We got that name from 1977 Blizzard it snowed everyday in December & January, not Lying we got 16 feet of snow from that storm. City & Schools were closed for 3 weeks. Still had snow on ground in June. We have to wait till July to enjoy the Beaches cause Lake Erie frezzes over. Buffalo is a big Drinking City bars are open till 4am. Some people blame that because we have a big IRISH Population here. Buffalo Bills fans are crazy, because we get to Tailgate for 4 hours before the game, drinking Alcohol at 9am. 1 good thing in 70s Buffalo had 10 years of concerts 4 every summer at Bills Stadium. Rolling Stones liked us they played here 6 times. Got to see big bands Led Zeppelin, Alice Cooper, Bob Seger, Fleetwood Mac, Journey, The Who, Greatful Dead, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, Doobie Brothers. It was cool most bands opened saying ( HELLO BUFFALO ). ALWAYS WHITE CHRISTMAS IN BUFFALO.
