Absolutely spot-on. I have been a Tottenham fan since the days of Jennings, Peters, Gilzean..and co. and this episode is one of the most embarrassing I have ever witnessed. Made Tottenham look a pathetically small-minded club totally lacking in ambition.

Some of our fans certainly know how to set themselves up for ridicule by not doing due diligence on potential scenarios. We could be the laughing stock of London and beyond come Sunday evening. 1. Chelsea win and we lose (60 pts now leading Brighton 1 nil as I type), they take 5th. 2. West Ham play without fear against tense City and sneak a draw or win. 3. Arsenal hammer Everton and win league.

I was angry last night at the so called Spurs supporters who weren’t supporting us last night. It’s about us always. Forget every other team, we should be focused on us regardless of what other teams do. It’s how to get a collective winning mentality. You build an us v them group mindset and then go out every match to win. Poor show from those who last night showed themselves to be more Arsenal opposers than Spurs supporters.

It sees itself as a club that doesn't deserve to win, that can only win by not winning (top 4 is not a win, losing to city is not a win), and ultimately that finds identity in its failures ("perserverance", commiseration, victimhood). The title of the video says it all and speaks to exactly what Ange is talking about. Stop caring about what other teams are or aren’t doing/winning!!! The mentality is so weak and the reason why we continuously have that Spursy tag on us, we should want to win every single game against every team every week. What Arsenal does outside of us playing them is irrelevant to us and our success, let’s get that in our damn heads!

The issue of intentionally denying ourselves CL football in order to have an easier go next season, or even worse so that Arsenal don't win the league is the exact opposite of what Ange is talking about. Diminishing one's self avoid difficulty is not the same as backing one's self in humble environments.
I must admit I feel a bit ashamed to be a spurs fan at the moment how can any true spurs fan want our team to lose just to get one over our rivals is this really the total of our ambition? When I saw our fans with little smirks on their faces last night I cringed why don’t we concentrate on trying to win and get some silverware instead of behaving like this it’s not the sign of a big club COYS

Son has been having one of his "I will go missing" periods, who's brilliant idea was it to make him the Captain, you could'nt make it up.. I dont follow these guys much but as someone who likes to follow Tottenham, their videos come up the page once in a while and although I may not agree with a lot of what they say I always thought, they are just very passionate. After this game though, I have seen several videos titled like above, "Tottenham fans celebrating miss" , "sonny denies Ars title" etc etc. It is ok to quietly feel happy about it when it happens. I even understand the feeling in the stadium during the game, given fans(especially local) have had miserable few years/decades even. But banging on and on about it after the game, video after video, is truly pathetic and makes an average Tottenham fan look bad. You will only lose more viewers if you carry on in this vain

Ange has Lo Celso in the team but Ange hardly plays Lo Celso. I wonder why? In this match Sarr played so badly while Bentancur played so well and got took off the match and Bentancur was so mad. Hojberg Uhm... good and bad I don't think Hojberg will not put 100% effort into any matches as Hojberg will leave Spurs. Agne lost the match due to his pick the players in the midfield, Sarr and Hojberg. Rumour says that Lo Celso will leave Spurs as well. But then Spurs will have at least 5 players to be released from Spurs as they are good but not fit in with Ange ways of playing.

The table determines who plays where in Europe. We are going to Europe because of the games we won, not the ones we lost.
Europa League travel combined with ENIC lack of spending means, we are no chance of top 4 next year. We only had a sustained run under Poch was because we managed to get top 4 and the easier schedule of CL games (not easier opponents, easier calendar, less Eastern Europe aeay games, easier for league games with a thin squad. No trophies next year in my view.
