    1. Enter system view
    system-view
    2. Enter MST region view
    stp region-configuration
    3. Configure the MST region
    region-name hp
    4. Configure the VLAN-to-instance mapping table
    instance 1 vlan 1 to 4094
    5. Configure revision level. Default is 0
    revision-level 1
    6. Display the MST region configurations that are not activated yet
    check region-configuration
    7. Activate MST region configuration manually
    active region-configuration
    8. Display the activated configuration information of the MST region
    display stp region-configuration
    ********************Configuring CORE as the root bridge of the STP instances********************
    1. Enter system view
    system-view
    2. Configure the current device as the root bridge of a specific spanning tree
    stp instance 0 to 1 root primary
    NOTE: All VLANs in an MST region are mapped to the CIST (or MSTI 0) by default.
    !With the BPDU guard function enabled on the devices, when edge ports receive configuration BPDUs, MSTP will close these ports and notify the NMS that these ports have been closed by MSTP.
    stp bpdu-protection
    !Enable STP globally
    stp global enable

    system-view
    stp region-configuration
    region-name hp
    instance 1 vlan 1 to 4094
    revision-level 1
    check region-configuration
    active region-configuration

    NOTE: region-name and revision-level should be the same on all the switches so configuration digest matches on all of them.
